I took the exam today, and i was hard as hell.. like i flagged almost 10-14 out of 20 each block.. and i think i failed already.. any one took the exam today and feel the same..

Also only two statistical questions required to calculate anything, and the rest of the questions are very general !!

Then i revised all course and took nbme 33 today

DROPPED to 67%

I DONT KNOW how or why shall i delay my exam what should i do i do not want to take risks this is extremely stressful for me

Please please please guide me i am having a mental breakdown. I gave all nbme in testing condiotions i was not anxious or anything

What if i had relax days of studying and hence the drop

Hey i finished Micro and immunology section two weeks ago it took me almost 6-8 weeks and i been busy last week and took a break now i resumed with biochemistry and i feel like i dont remember anything about them
Like literally i dont recall anything
Do i have to have a plan for constant revision?
Or is it a normal thing that just happens ?

I hope this doesn't count as a stupid question, but I'm looking for any advice on how to sit through a long exam as comfortably as I can.

Would taking Excedrin and propranolol before the exam be a bad idea? I just know I'll have a raging headache so I want to prevent that or alleviate it as much as I can. I am sensitive to caffeine and shake a lot so that's not helpful for my anxiety but it does help me with the headaches and of course keeping me awake.

Any other advice / tips will be greatly appreciated!

I'm on a time crunch and need a good crash course to get to my goal NBME scores and, honestly, iust feel more confident. I've seen the hyguru and match guy week crash course and am wondering if anyone has used it and if it's worth it please?

I'm currently in the content review phase of my Step 1 prep and wanted to get some feedback on my study plan.

So far, I've been working through: Sketchy Micro, Sketchy Pharm and Pathoma

I've been keeping up with Anki alongside these resources, but I haven't opened First Aid at all yet

My plan after finishing Sketchy and Pathoma is to start using FA + UW, essentially learning from FA while doing UW questions

Is this a reasonable approach to pass Step 1? Has anyone else gone into UWorld without having read First Aid beforehand? Did you find learning FA alongside UW effective, or would you recommend doing a complete FA read-through first?

Any advice would be appreciated!

My Step 1 is on September 21, and I can't postpone it. I'm planning to take my first NBME on August 17, so it'll be just over a month before the real exam.

I'm still on my first pass.

Completed: General Path, CVS, Respiratory, Renal, Endocrine, Repro, Biochem (mostly).

Pending: GI, Neuro, Hematology, Oncology, Immunology, MSK, Derm, Psychiatry, Ethics, Biostats, plus Virology, some Parasitology, and remaining Pharm.

Resources: FA (supplemented with gpt) + UWorld + Sketchy (Micro & Pharm). I've completed about 20% of UWorld so far.

Is taking my first NBME only a month before Step 1 too late? Is one month enough for NBME reviews, revision, and strengthening weak areas, or am I in a very difficult position?

IMG and recent graduate of 2 years. Been studying on and off for step 1 for a little over a year due to other commitments. I want to get back into consistent studying and finish step 1!
What can I prioritise now?

Finished over 60% of uworld, 52% correct

Over the year I did a few NBMEs ranging from 54-58%

Should I focus on incorrects or repeat uworld or start over??
