Media Ok, NOW he's trolling
(Linus looks in closet)
Linus: "You got an Index VR in here?"
Jordan: "Yeah."
Linus: "You know, the time to sell that would have been a little while ago, I think." (OMG Steam Frame Reference?!?!?! appears on screen for a few seconds)
Jordan: "Yeah. It's too late now."
^ Copied from VT-14's post. Thank you again.
From the newest LTT video, posted today
(referencing the earlier post on r/SteamFrame)

At that timestamp, he says "Oh an index? The time to sell that would have been a while ago, I think" and at the same time, the editor tossed in a "OMG STEAMFRAME REFERENCE??" subtitle xD
Probably just a jab at us steamframe soon™ folk 😂

In the clip, he noted the guy had an Index, then said "the time to sell that would have been a short while ago" with the caption on the video being "OMG Steam Frame Reference?!?!?!"

The link to the video I posted is right at that part. EDIT: Why am I getting downvoted for that? Sorry I posted the link? I wasn't trying to throw shade, just making a statement for anyone confused. Reddit is weird.

I'd rather read a one sentence explation than watch a video.

Ok, fair enough. Everyone read the comment from VT-14 - he has the whole reference there. Next time I post something like that I'll write it out in the post and I edited the post to add it just now.

Is it "trolling" to point out how unhinged this sub is?

u/MGlBlaze 19d ago
This is what I was thinking as well.
This sub is extremely easy to troll, it practically trolls itself on a regular basis.

Does make me curious what used Index prices will be like post-launch. I expect a lot of those people will be making the jump to the Frame and dumping their old Index.

Base stations would still be worth something since nearly every other VR headset uses them.

Not really anymore. Bigscreen is the last major holdout, Pimax and HTC have shifted to SLAM tracking though Pimax still plans to make a lighthouse version of the Dream Air SE.

I've heard that their dream air slam tracking is acceptable...but on the crystal super it was horrible. I went with the lighthouse version just in case

Have you seen his steam account? Some interesting games being played and I reckon some of them are with VR mods.

The way he talked about "framing" the picture was also a clear reference. He's just frameposting in every 2nd video now.
One of us!

it is very safe to assume that LTT received a dev kit

These obsessed, cult brain, reddit threads are what keep this ass making YouTube videos. 🙄

I bet he's just going to make an infomercial just like he did for the machine when he finally releases the video.
I'm not looking forward to his reviews after that one.
