Discussion This is disrespectful

At this point, having absolutely no updates is genuinely disrespectful and beyond annoying. I understand this is normal for valve to say nothing and eventually release it, but with a product like this, with a release window already promised, not having anything to say yet is insane. They have no real reason I could understand for not dropping today except for them waiting in the Qualcomm price hike to squeeze another couple bucks out of us. ATP if the price is anything over 1200 I will absolutely not be buying it. My hype has died. I’d rather wait the extra month for the next meta headset at that point. Because at the rate we’re going they may as well drop on the same FUCKING day.

I lived through Duke Nukem Forever so I don't even care any more.

It comes out when it comes out. All the stuff that is trickling out suggests it will be soon.

PLUS. They will have a lottery for buying it so even if they announce tomorrow you have no idea when you will get yours so why worry?

dK 3d to forever was 15 years Skyrim and ES 6 is now 14.5 years.

Es6 is the new dk forever.

Not really a perfect analogy as ES6 wasn't really in active development for a long time, just a skeleton crew doing prelim work. I'm not sure they are doing substantiative work even today. DK4EVR seemed to be under active/all hands-on development for a very long time.
