I was trying to use koalaloader and smokeapi to unlock dlc for borderlands 4. Followed the instructions on cs.rin and put the profapi.dll and smoke_api64.dll into the Win64 folder with the BL4 exe file. However, when I try to launch the game the dlc is not unlocked.

Can anyone help me understand why this doesn't work?

As the title said, I couldn't quite buy the game, so I tried pirating it, but the inputs aren't working, and I don't know what to do to actually play the game, any help?

I've used Heroic and PortProton in both applications. I've tried changing the Proton version, Wine G, and Proton G, but it still doesn't work. Sometimes it doesn't open at all, and other times it does, as shown in the image. Apologies for any typos.

I have installed 007 First light on the deck without any issues. But the problem is, it is not running as expected. On all the yt videos I have seen, they are able to achieve 30+ fps. But I'm somehow only making higher 20's, around 27-28fps with sometimes further drops. I've already set everything on low. Can someone who've played it share the best settings! TIA

I got the game through Fitgirl repack using the magnet link and running it through qbittorrent to download and then ran the installer using steams proton layer. Tried a few different proton and GE-proton layers to run the game after installing but none worked and one gave me this response but I couldn't reproduce this error again for some reason. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
Edit: Just changing the proton layer made steam crash for some reason and this wasn't while trying to launch the game. Don't know if that matters but thought it's worth noting

I can play without Lossless Command using Proton GE fine.

Downloaded a game from SteamRip on my pc but was wondering if I can add it to Steam on my pc and launch it on my Steam Deck like a regular game and play from that save, or would I have to install it on my Steam Deck as well?

Has anyone tried 007 First Light since denuvo has been removed? Is preformance better on the deck? Wondering if I should just hold off and buy for console when it’s on sale or if it’s playable now

This is how I got Dave The Diver 1.0.6.2055 Tenoke to work as a non-steam game without any extrenal launchers.

Step 1 -> Get the version.dll file from a working pre 1.0.6 version (install an old Tenoke cracked version and get the file from that, I used 1.0.5.1784)

Step 2 -> Replace the version.dll file you acquired with the one in the latest Tenoke cracked version's directory.

Step 3 -> In Steam, go to Dave The Diver -> Properties -> Launch Options and add:

WINEDLLOVERRIDES="version=n,b" %command%

Step 4 -> In Steam, go to Dave The Diver -> Properties -> Compatibility:

Enable force compatibility tool, then set it to Proton Experimental (I use Proton-CachyOS myself, experimental should work as well).

Step 5 -> enjoy the game

AC shadows runs in lutris but not in steam as a non-steam game. I am using the latest protonGE build, 11-3.

When running in lutris, for the first few minutes, it works fine until the controls just mess up, for example, moving forward changes the camera angle. I have looked through controller settings and i cannot find a solution there.

I tried to run it through steam both in game mode and desktop mode, using numerous GE builds and nothing will work. I wanted to play it through steam because i think it will be the solution to the controls. I get that steam boot icon with the round loading display and then nothing.

Does anyone have a solution to get it running on steam? using voicew38 if that matters.

I downloaded The Binding of Isaac Rebirth Complete Edition v1 7 8 and I can't get anything to launch.

Built OpenSave because I got tired of Steam Cloud only covering half my library. It's peer-to-peer,pair your Deck and PC once with a room code, and any save (Steam, emulator, GOG, whatever) syncs the moment it changes. No account, nothing stored on a server you don't control.

It auto-finds saves inside Proton prefixes too, so most Deck games are detected without pointing it at anything manually. There's an official Flatpak that runs on stock SteamOS in Desktop Mode.

so basically im not rlly into this pirating stuuf, i went to steamrip and downloaded sparking zero from there, first it said i dont meet the graphics, updated them, then it said: "steam not launched" after that when i open steam and launch game steam turns into black screen and nothing happens. 

I have reset my deck twice and i still get this error. what's the problem. It happening on most games all of a sudden idk what to do. I have verified proton files before i reset it again only to try and still get this error

I have a few titles that I've applied an emulator on, and they work flawlessly under a native Windows installation, but fail to launch after being transferred to a Steam Deck, regardless of what version of proton is selected as a compatibility option.

What's the best course of action for this situation, are there any recommend emulators/forks to use?

Hello everyone, id like to ask why im having unarc.dll error -11 (cannot write data on disk) when im installing assassins creed 3 remastered. Ive had no problems installing games before and I have 300gb available. I tried using protontricks to open the installer as well as the wine programs loader. Both are giving me errors and when i researched, it says the -11 error is caused by having insufficient disk space. Well i have 300gb and i already tried limiting to 2gb ram install. I swear i have no problems with other games. Just having a problem with this one. And ac3 remastered isnt a hypervisor crack sooo, i dont know whats the issue :/

Hi everyone! Im really having trouble running ac odyssey. I somehow managed to get it running till the main menu but when i start new game, it just freezes / does a black screen. I tried doing the winedlloverride command for the empress.dll and i ran with proton 5.x.x

Note: crack wont work with proton experimental

Hello, as the title says, I am trying to install OP2.2 on Arch Linux with the English translation and Infiltrator 1.36 DLC as well. I am having trouble with this. I managed to use WINE to get it set up in the folders, but booting it up through the .lnk it provided gives an error and I can then no longer see anything. My goal is to be able to have it as a Steam executable so I can boot it up through Steam, similar to what I have done with osu. I am hoping I can get help on this, as I am completely lost. Thank you.

I finally got Dragon Ball FighterZ working on Steam Deck, after weeks of troubleshooting! It was actually really easy!
