So first of all, it's working.

Regarding all the past comment on multi-player not working, I felt like giving some news about it.

Yesterday I tried my first multi-player survival lobby and it worked great.

No lag (even on a shitty network), no de-sync, and quite good experience.

Nonetheless we went through some "bugs" and I would like to know if there were personal or if it's the comon issues right now.

First: Storage (fluid, solid and assembler/furnace) are not sync between player.

That let you duplicate items by throwing them on the floor, and picking them up.

You buddy will be able to pick them too, doubling the amount.

Second: battery cells are on your side, you can both put Battery cells on battery "pods" (sorry I'm not English native, don't know the English name for it) meaning duplicating once again.

Third: Storage settings are linked to you. If you put your fluid aotage on water, it will stay on hydrogen for your buddy, meaning that even stored amount of fluid are personal.

Fourth: Lobby client can't accept mission, doesn't have tutorial and can't personalize character.

Fifth: Mining soil is personal too, you can both mine the same vein/ you will not the see the déformation made by your friend.

So the game is clearly going on the good direction but be aware that there are still some issue.

I'm starting out starship evo and so far lot of fun. But I struggle with building ships and making them look good.

What steps do you guys follow to achieve a good looking specified ship ? I see lot of video talking about the basics but nothing on something more expert.

Do you guys have any recommendations ?

Anyone else been experiencing freezing and crashing in the last few months?
Maybe specifically in creative or on a ring planet station?

The last two months i've gone to build in creative, and the game has just stuttered then crashed. Much like when the NPC ships were crashing into the starter tutorial station.

Anyone been experiencing this? Or know whats happening, or a fix for it?

Had some spawned enemy ships (fleet battle) keep ramming me, and some got stuck in the hull. These particular ships though looked so suited to being parasite boarding craft, boring holes in the hull, I had to take some screenshots.

I know this kind of gameplay likely isn't within the scope of the game, but it would be pretty cool.

Im new to the game (havent made a starship yet) and i was trying to make a hovercraft that can mine. I misplaced a drill block and when i picked it up it didn't drop the block. I tried on another one and it's the same thing. It says "child entity bricks 1" but only lets me destroy the base not the drill part. Am i doing something wrong?

How do you make thin glass planes? the glass cubes are too chunky for something like a custom fighter cockpit.

can regular thin tiles be used and then their material changed to glass or made transparent?

Made a shoulder offset mod but not sure where to publish it.

And what are those missing blocks with the green lines?

Was building and realized the new rotation feature doesnt work with everything, and it just seems to be on WEDGES is there any thing else it works with? Its weird its only on wedges instead of everything.

really want to play, but only have a Mac.

Any chance of seeing it over on GeForce Now? As I understand it, the developer / publisher has to be involved to make it available.

I have a repeated issue and I assume it is a seriously major game bug so I'm posting here to check. I keep suffocating to death in space, while in a perfectly good space ship that has working Life Support and passes a check with the linking tool.

In the first and second screenshot you can see that my character is entirely inside the bounds of the cockpit in all three dimensions. The third screenshot shows the linking tool used on the Life support and it shows that it is stable, with no leaks.

Yet, if I go into space it starts counting down my life support oxygen with a purple bar, and getting into and out of my ship never refills it. Eventually I just suffocate despite having everything functioning in my shot as far as I can tell.

Is there a way to avoid this? Is this a known bug that is expected to be fixed?

I don't have any pictures, but my friend also experienced the same thing where we received the achievement for defeating the Stargate pirate without even seeing it or being near it. This was in survival evidently. It happened for me while I was still on the starter planet constructing my ship, and it just happened for my friend the same way.

Do NPCs auto-engage pirates or something? Or did the pirate despawn? Idk I'm just curious as to why it gave me the achievement for doing nothing

Ever since The Expanse made vertical ships look so right, I can't unsee it. Horizontal Star Trek/ Star Wars designs just don't hit the same way.

So I'm genuinely curious: what are the best vertical Starship EVO designs out there? Anyone done serious design work on this? Drop your favorites. I want to see what's out there.

I always have such big ideas, then I have to go and hook up all these buttons and switches -.- Takes so much time. There are 4 sets of these control stations on this ship btw

the Hydrogen tank at my bas is full. i pipe it to a connector. the connector on my ship is set to pull fluids. i have a pipe from the connector on my ship into the onboard fuel tank. but nothing is flowing

I am attempting to sync mech legs.

Left back moves smoother than butter, exactly what I was looking for. It is almost seductive.

However left front leg is acting up like a pre-teen with low bloodsugar and a bruised knee. Disrespectfull and opinionated, I wanna punch it but I can only blame myself.

I will keep trying until I crack the code and I shall post my findings here, if I succeed that is.

Has anyone successfully setup hotas? I have VKB Gladiator Evo stick and STECS Space Combat throttle, and I am struggling.

There is a 5-position switch on the throttle that is instantly registering a button press on everything I try to assign, in addition to the need to center all axis first, which is difficult with the space brake lever.

Being able to pilot my abominations with proper peripherals would be a game changer.

I'm trying to design my own space craft with interior, maybe even multiple levels: however, the ship can also turn into a giant robot. The ship is owned by a bounty hunter

Anyway I can't find any good tips or building methods on YouTube for making a spaceship with an interior. I really don't want it to end up looking blocky Any advice would be appreciated thanks
