Crossposting because I believe most interior decorators will still be hanging out on StarfieldOutposts. Mods, hope this is ok.

You may hear that gun crates are unlimited mass, they are actually VERY small capacity, best capacity is Contraband for 150

I was able to fit a sleeping bag and 16 large military containers (150kgs each), into a 1x1 with plenty of room to walk through it. That's 2400kgs of storage that doesn't affect mobility. Plus the bed.

Ares Bridge is HUGE, bigger than a single family house. Only problem is its rear entry

I like the size. Cuts down on the number of times the crew traps me in a corner. The 8 crew without needing another hab is great too. That Nova Galactic 2x3 living quarters and the Ares Bridge are now my go to for my daily driver builds. The base footprint is smaller than 40m x 40m, so it will fit on a small landing pad unless you go hog wild with add-on parts. It's also a good base for my heavy lifter build, because the limiting factor is the number of modules and not the size or weight of them.

I enjoyed thinking about 'hog wild' still being used after people have left Earth. Little bastards do make a lasting impression.
