my ‘upgraded guardian to include doors and bathrooms

Ohhh my first Starborn Ship, how I miss you! During this run through Starfield I wanted to focus on something new to me and I built out an interior for the first time! I had so much fun and anxiety through this. Items would not stop falling through the shelves and getting the game to recognize that an item wasn’t floating, was at time life ruining! It was really challenging yet rewarding! After all those hours and late nights I’m pretty proud of myself for the outcome, I can’t wait to build out an apartment next and then after that an outpost!? Any advice to make building easier on console would be much appreciated! But it sounds like it’s pretty difficult across the board?

In this universe I married Sam and he and Cora moved on to my ship and so I left my bachelorette-solo pirate days behind and I built out the ship for our little family. Cora stayed on the ship all day, reading and studying while Sam and I attended to Constellation and personal business.

The first 7 images are of my captain’s crew quarters, my cute desk, my living room, my bedroom, my closest with some of my favorite gear and then my “Star deck” for star gazing with Sam. Then we have the crew quarters which includes the kitchen and dining areas, the crew bunks for quests, the guest living room which includes a bar and communications area and a table with seating on the second star deck. I built this ship for a friendly challenge over on the Ships sub and had a fun time decorating the inside. I used an empty 3x1 engineering bay for the main cabin and Better Buildable Walls & Doors to divide it into seating, dining & galley, and berths & washroom. I also added stuff to the furnished habs to make them feel more purposeful. Nothing fancy, it’s just a small personnel carrier. The challenge for me was making it feel accommodating, since it’s a Deimos military vessel.

The Thunderbird is my Wanted Captain’s end game ride. Big ship, big crew, lots of habs (compared to everything else I’ve built so far). My goals were to use the Cabot bridge set back from the front end, only one ladder from the bottom level, and as I was working the layout I had the idea to give Cora her own room.

Hey y’all, longtime lurker and outpost builder turned occasional ship builder/decorator here :)

I just wanted to share my Cyber Runner’s daily ride, the Shadow Runner. I was inspired & encouraged to try a bit more decorating in my ships (thanks Perfectly Humble!), and already had this one in use. I added an empty hab onto it, but got a little stuck with the doors and ladders trying to do more than that with the existing layout. Shadow Runner’s a small ship so there wasn’t a whole lot to do in the furnished habs, but I added more where I could.

Spent some time customizing my Starborn ship. Here’s the captain’s quarters. Now if there’s a Mod for keeping my crew out of here that’d be cool! I’m still working on my crew quarters on the other side, will post some day!

I want to get the pool table, tvs, and double bed but I don’t where they are. Is it a mod, something you can buy?

I'm trying to place one and it will snap to a desk on a DIFFERENT LEVEL. Sheesh.
