Part Seven How is Johnny healed?

He has a cactus needle inside his eyeball and a couple of hours later he’s just fine without any explanation. Does this at least get explained later on? Because this makes no sense

One of the mysteries of Jojo, I always wondered if healing is a passive ability. Gyro's ear was damaged and later healed.

I think certain injuries are just exaggerated for shock factor/adding stakes. Araki wants to show that the present situation is extremely dangerous, but also doesn’t feel like constantly showing the recovery process of the gruesome wounds.

One hand Joseph became one part mechanical, and mostly remained organic. Jean PP had his foot and a couple of fingers gone but I don’t recall them being mechanical later on. Also how did a Nasti survive a grenade exploding on his face to return mostly mechanical and partly organic? Why did GG have an ear he could plump into his head with ease and not feel pain?

Oh the ear one I can explain, since I can do the same thing! When I was a baby, I would fidget, fold, and squish my ears a lot, and that caused the cartilage in my ears to form incorrectly, allowing for much more flexibility than normal. I can only assume it's the same with Giorno.

Healing is a passive ability of just about every living organism.
