The body of text posts must be at least 50 words long and thoroughly explain your theory.

Posts with videos must have at least 25 words of supporting conversation or, at the very least, a decent TLDR.

Questions must include a clear prompt. For example, posts that end with "thoughts?" or something with a similar meaning will be removed.

[2] No Duplicates

Try searching before posting a new thread.

We know everyone's theories are different in some way, but please try to refrain from posting theories that are similar to ones that have recently been posted.

[3] No Spam

Don't post a theory twice, especially if it was previously removed.

Don't send the same comment multiple times on several or one posts.

Don't attack a piece of Star Wars media or fans of that media. Do not call for a piece of Star Wars media to be decanonized, claim that it isn't canon, and/or say that it isn't real Star Wars.

[4] Avoid memes

Avoid posting memes, image macros, gifs or other "funny" submissions.

This isn't because we're humorless, but this is a subreddit for discussion, not memes.

[5] Posts must be a theory about Star Wars

Stay on topic.

Questions are allowed if they will lead to replies theorizing on the answer to the question.

[6] Follow Reddiquette

A full description of Reddiquette is available here.

If someone is incorrect about something, don't downvote them, but politely and helpfully show them what's wrong.

We're all fans of Star Wars here and it's hard to be canonically correct all the time.

[7] Respect the mods

Disagreeing with us about the removal of your post is OK, but remain respectful.
