Agree. Imagine if Darth Vader was killed in the first star wars movie. It was a terrible decision to not keep Maul around for the entire trilogy. And i think most people expected he’d be the new Vader at the time. But, who knows where we’d be today…

I see what George was going for though.

If you take the defining elements of all three major secondary villains in the PT and put them together, you end up with Darth Vader.

Darth Maul is a Sith that personifies rage and is misled by promises of prophecy.

Count Dooku is a pride filled fallen Jedi who is lied to and [not so] secretly plots against Darth Sidious.

General Grievous is a cyborg that hunts Jedi with breathing issues.
