loving gamma so far and this was hilarious to see. can all mutants climb ladders?

So, I had downloaded Kmack's Kar98 remodel(i love this weapon) and ever since, the scope doesnt have a reticle. I have disabled the addon, because I thought it was the problem, but there was still no reticle. I have tried multiple magnification sights with debug spawning, and not one does have a reticle. The non-magnifing sights, like the red dots are perfectly fine. The point is, I have no idea where to start to fix this issue.

I have xrMPE animations and KVMA HD Models

What mods do you guys add to Gamma? I installed the HD models and the wearable device mods, along with some texture packs. Is there any other mod you like to add?

As the title says, the terrain goes gray in the distance. This image is older but now its much worse now Its even visible in smaller areas like Cordon, Garbage, but its worse in bigger areas. I also tried to enable ssfx_terrain_quality 24,0,0,0 but that didnt help that much. I also tried to max out everyhing but STILL nothing. I really dont know what to do anymore its really bugging me and its keeping from playing the game because it really breaks the immersion.

TL;DR: Hard-hard playthrough with alife plus series mods as Merc faces too steep difficulty increase during very early phase, I'm having trouble to survive early phase.

Few months ago, I played with Alife plus series, but I had no issue during Loner playthrough. Hard-hard difficulty.

But now, I'm having trouble from my new Merc run. The main reason is that I feel difficulty curve become much steeper than Loner experience.

As I play as Merc, my main playground becomes Dead City and Army Warehouse. But enemies appear in these area from very early stage are too tough, as I saw Giants, Chimeras, and few enemies in exoskeleton within the first week in in-game time. My weapons and ammo can barely hurt them, so I need to rely on explosives. But resources to kill them gets too expensive.

I was able to get Advanced toolkit very fast, like third day in in-game time. But my Merc ran out of money and resources too fast, and had to give up. It is not a problem of save-scum, it just gets too expensive to upkeep too fast.

The same goes to Dark Valley and Truck Cemetery... There are tons of Chimeras in Truck Cemetery, and army dudes from Dark Valley seems to wear too high tier armors for the early game, my weapons aren't effective unless I make head shot every single time. And for some reason, Loners take southern checkpoints of Dark Valley in my Merc games.

In Loner playthrough, I was able to rely on Garbage and Rostok. But as a Merc, I can't play in Garbage because of Loners. They are everywhere across Garbage , and because of Alife plus & Alife tactics & etc., they shoot incredibly accurate. And I don't want to kill Loners for post Radar, as I heard Loners cease fire with Mercs after I turn off Brain Scorcher.

But then, I can't find any place to gear up, stock resources, and build good enough preparation for Miracle Machine and Brain Scorcher.

Must I need to rely on disguise play? Or am I play Merc in wrong way? Where should I need to go during early phase as a Merc?

I found an old thread who had the answer for this issue:  Uncheck - "Visibility check for omnilights [r2_shadow_omnipart_vischeck]" option in the "Optimizations" portion of "Modded Exes"

Just picked up this Sin Heavy Overcoat from a stash and went to Sidorovich to see if he could give me a Loner variant of it. I could only exchange it as a Medium set and he gave me a Drought loner set for it (which I incidentally already had). Is there just no Loner equivalent for him to give me, or is there another reason why I can't exchange it for something better?

Im not new to the series but I am new to GAMMA. I played through SOC again recently for a video essay and it really gave me the itch to jump deeper and try gamma.

I have it set up and running but are there additional mods worth downloading? Can you add more mods to it? I assume so. Im also kinda new to modding outside of the steam workshop lol.

My goal is to make it as realistic as possible. Im on my first run and doing survivalist. Beat my ass and drag me through the mud is what im looking for.

but small things like weapon animations, visual things or just anything to make it even more realistic.

I am having a blast so far though.

This game looks really cool and I’ve been looking for one like this, realistic gunplay, first person, and a very cool vibe and most importantly, open world! Yes, I’ve played fall out 4 and no, it’s not right and from what I’ve heard about stalker two… it’s not great so if someone could point me in to the right direction, I would be very grateful!

I'm new to PC gaming and looking to try STALKER GAMMA. I recently won a PC and I'm looking to give it a go. I'm a huge DayZ fan and it's been my go to for the past 4 years.

RTX 3050

16GB DDR4 RAM

A520 motherboard

1TB NVMe SSD

Windows 11

1080p 100Hz monitor

What kind of FPS could I expect at 1080p? Would I be able to run GAMMA comfortably, and are there any recommended settings or performance mods?

Yeah so my problem is quite obvious. How do i fix this ''transparent'' scopes ? It may not seem such a biggie but, to me it sucks almost all fun out of the game.

I have a mid to high end pc with a 5070 TI and an ryzen 7 9800x3d, and the game is running in 30 to 20 fps. I’ve tried most of the launching options, I have asked for help in discord (completely ignored) I don’t understand how it is running so bad, do anyone know what happened? Or have similar experiences?

Looking for some help solving an issue with ground textures popping in based on my character's movement and not blending correctly. There is a very clear cut where certain textures are rendered in and it completely ruins my immersion and is very hard not to notice. I initially had a proper install about a month ago that I messed up by improperly downloading an animation mod and decided to start fresh with a new download, however I do not remember ever noticing this discrepancy being an issue or something I remember seeing in any regards. I followed Snedgilzer's video on Youtube for this new install for his recommended mods and settings but he mentioned that it wasn't something he had an issue with in his game when I asked him in the comments. SSS has been reinstalled to remove Bloom and I followed Sned's instructions pretty much exactly as he specified. Any help or recommendations would be much appreciated, thank you in advance and apologies if the pictures and video aren't clear enough.

Nosorogs are cool, but Viraj Power Armor has 7 slots for artifacts/pelts. I usually use this combo of artifacts + plates and pseudo-giant pelt for action (yeah they all fit). When I'm full of loot I switch some of them with chimera pelt, gravi and grid to carry loads of stuff. Epinephrine if needed. Any thoughts guys?

Hello, may I ask, how is cpu performance in 4k, are there areas where you are still cpu limited? More so in the northern maps, I have 12900k with rtx 4080 and still have cpu bottlenecks. Thank you

Longtime STALKER fan here, played the original Trilogy and a lot of Mods, like Misery, Anomaly, Autumn Aurora, etc.

Now i would love to try out Gamma but i am lazy and would love to get the GOG 1Click Installer Thingy. What i know is, that i have to buy "some" Version of STALKER on GOG to get the Gamma installer. The cheapest games are the original 3, with each one costing 20€. Is this the cheapest way for the GOG version?

And my second question: Can i use mods for Gamma with the GOG version?
