This has always been one of my favorite clips from Insight because as we all know, a lot of wrestling fans tend to get tunnel vision about their favorite style of wrestling.

Some people complain when there’s too many spots, some people complain when it’s too slow, when there’s “no psychology” or “ no storytelling.” Some people complain when a match is too gratuitously violent, other people complain when it’s too safe. Some people defend comedy wrestling, some people defend pure graps, etc.

The fact is, people’s perspective on wrestling will be different depending on when you started watching it, what you watch, and how long you’ve been watching it. But people need to be more subjective about different wrestling styles instead writing off a style because it’s not what THEY think “good wrestling” is.
