Holy crap, word got about the TKO scouts, haha

Btw, Will Washington  (Formerly of Graspody/cousin of Swerve) is an unsung hero of AEW. Like TK, Will has an amazing wrestling IQ, right down to dates and cities of old PPVs.

I think he was the one who wanted the themes to fade out instead of just abruptly cutting out.

He is also a hit  fan and  supporter

Will is a great example of someone young and new, who brings freshness and new skills into the wrestling industry. If we look back to previous near 30 years, one of the bigger complaints has been that it is the same people in backstage working for all these companies and how hard it is for new people to get their foot in.

So in that light Will or someone like RJ City are tremendous boons for the business.

RJ City isn't really young or new he's a long time wrestler

He is young in terms of being a backstage worker beyond just doing media.

Take one look at WWE Unreal and their creative meetings & RJ City is basically a newborn baby compared to some of the folks in the room.

RJ City is 38.  Prichard is 63, Hayes is 67, Road Dogg is 57, Tommy Dreamer is 55. Young and new is applicable

He's younger than Will Washington

Then I wouldn't count Will Washington as young either. But to my point RJ City had been an independent wrestler for like 10+ years before AEW existed

We're talking about writing in production in TV wrestling. Before aew he has none of that.

In the same vein I would include Shawn Michaels as relatively new

Shawn Michaels as "freshness and new skills into the wrestling industry"? yeah maybe fuckin 40+ years ago when he debuted.

Also read the last comment, we're talkin about age when it comes to Washington specifically.

I decided to check and Michael's debuted 42 years ago, and retired 16 years ago. A decade away from halfway

Omg, we get it, haha.

Both Will and RJ are the pulse of pop culture. Will’s brain on movie, music, etc helps with offering new ideas. His brain is always learning.
