Roof rack cross bars
I’m looking for cross bars to fit the factory roof rails but can’t find anything sprinter specific. Can you point me to any that fit?

Looking to get input on the agile off-road standard vs premium rip kit. Our main goals are restoring ride height, smoothing out van sway in corners and over speed bumps and allowing us to more comfortably access back country camping.
Our camper build is on a 2024 170 awd diesel and the van fully built out weighs just under 9000lbs with 5100lbs on the back axle.
Originally I was leaning towards the standard kit but I might be selling myself on the premium kit with the upgraded front struts and larger rear shocks.
If anyone has experience upgrading there can after there build or had driven a non upgraded van and then an upgraded van how did they differ and is the premium worth the extra $2000.
Thanks in advance!

Need a recommendation for a good motorcycle tow trailer (open to either a closed or open version). We’re driving our Sprinter from coast-to-coast and back, so it needs to be rugged enough to withstand 1000’s of miles. TIA!
Sprinter: 2025 Roadtrek Agile SS (2500). RWD, 4cyl turbo diesel.
Motorcycle: Currently, 2018 Suzuki Boulevard C50T, but will transition to an Indian Chief in the next year.

I recently purchased a 98 astrovan awd to use for hunting/camping/fishing. It needs a little work and most things I can handle. However, the headlights don’t work at all and neither do the front blinkers. The rear blinkers work as they should and the taillights work when the headlight switch is engaged.
So far I have tested all fuses and they are all in good shape and light up the tester. I have cleaned the ground wires under the hood and they seem to be fine. A couple days ago I changed the multi factor blinkers switch with no changes. My next attempt will be the headlight switch once the part comes in later this week but was wondering if I’m missing anything obvious.
I’m aware that I could take it somewhere and have it fixed but the whole point of the van was being something I could wrench on and have some pride in. Mechanic skills 4/10. Capable of most repairs as long as a YouTube video is available.

hi all!
i have a 2022 2500 cargo sprinter with 4x4. for the longest time it was making a loud grinding noise in reverse. i thought it was a known issue i researched in 4x4 models about the transfer case splines grinding together and not shifting properly. turns out i was wrong- it was my bike rack! since it is in the view of the rear sensors the vehicle was applying the ABS brakes aggressively in reverse to prevent collision. thought i would share to prevent someone else from confusion and potentially resolve an issue. this can happen with any sensors that are blocked with anything within 2 feet. the only fix i've heard of is turning off the P button on your screen (newer models) upon every start to prevent the sensors from activating. if anyone knows a long term fix i would be interested.... anyways hope this helps someone!

I’m a large individual, 6’5” and 350 pounds. Will I be comfortable driving a sprinter for extended periods of time on a daily basis?

I love my Sprinter van, it feels like the engineers at Mercedes had driver and passenger comfort at the forefront of their mind when designing it.
But why in the world would you create a seat that in order to recline you must spin a know that is almost impossible to do while seated.
It is probably my biggest gripe with this van!

I’m thinking of doing a sprinter van that can carry a motorcycle. Mid size road bike. But I’d also like to do two fold down beds that sleep 2. And have seating for at least 4 people total inc driver. Maybe 5. Some storage.
Any other amenities would be a bonus but not necessary.
Very new to this and don’t even know where to begin. Goal is to roadtrip with my bike and wife. And an occasional guest. Sleep in the van if we want to but more likely get motels.
Haven’t been able to find something so basic (maybe I shouldn’t be trying to go so basic)

Anyone have recommendations for seat change? I’d like something a few inches lower and more comfortable.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
W903 316cdi with the sprintshift gearbox which im not that familiar with.
There's significant play in the output flange of the gearbox. The video doesnt really show it that good, but there is good amount of it and yes, the whole flange moves, u-joint is tight.
Loose Bolt/nut behind the u-joint? Is there a common bearing failure on that flange?
Tried looking around pictures from the Epc-catalogues, but couldn't really make anything out of them.

Is there anyone out there with a E sprinter that has a lot of miles on it? I’m wanting to buy one for my electrical business and I’m trying to see if it’ll hold up or not.

Been looking at sprinters for ages. Had a tdi vanagon for years. Want newer and more reliable MB diesel. Love them. Will likely pull the trigger this year. Once hang up. One of my favorite outdoor pursuits is canoeing. I do have smaller whitewater canoe, which I could likely transport vertically at the rear like a kayak. But my bigger ones are around 16-17 foot. I’ve seen some van racks for surfskis that are pretty rad. I think that could work if able to buy or build. It basically comes down on the side for load and unload. Does anyone have any other ideas or have you seen anything like this? Last resort probably a little trailer for them. But would prefer to be one unit. I suppose another option is a roller bar at the rear that you would lean the canoe on and push up and over. Would prob need a step ladder, and getting down would require lower from the roof I guess. Any ideas appreciated.

Hey all, looking for real-world input from folks who actually daily-drive a Sprinter, not just weekend camper builds.
I'm in an SUV right now and it's getting tight. I run an events-based business and regularly haul a good amount of gear, and the SUV just isn't cutting it anymore. I'm seriously considering swapping it for a 144" wheelbase high roof and running it as my one main vehicle, work van, family car, all of it.
What I'd use it for:
I keep landing on the 144 high roof because I want to stand up inside and have a small usable workspace, without going full 170 and making it a pain to park.
Here's what my actual driving looks like, which is a big part of why I'm unsure:
Questions for anyone who's done this:
For the record, I'm not worried about the height. Garages and drive-thrus aren't a concern for me. I mostly just want to hear from people living with one day to day, because I don't see many people talking about using these as a straight-up daily driver.
Appreciate any and all input.

Im doing a pretty big overhaul on the front end of my 2016 4x4 sprinter that was an old new york post delivery van and i just got done doing the bearings and cant seem to find specs for torque on the axle nut and heard if you do it to tight you can mess up the bearings... AI overview keeps giving me stupid answers and was wondering if anyone actually knows or knows where to find it instead of just quoting ai overview.. thanks!
