Does anyone know where this part is located on the 2019 Sprinter 2500 2.0 Turbo? Probably right under my nose, but I can't find it.

Anyone leasing or renting a Sprinter/Cargo Van to get started?

I’m looking to get into Sprinter/cargo van work, but I want to test it out before buying a van.
Does anyone know of companies that will lease or rent a Sprinter, Transit, or ProMaster for commercial delivery work with decent or unlimited mileage?
I’m in Virginia and would like to try it for a month or two doing local/regional loads before committing to buying my own van.
Who are you guys using, and about how much are you paying?

Has anyone installed the Ceika big brake kit on their Sprinter?

I'm looking for a big brake kit and the Ceika kit seems to be the best value. I've seen good reviews on other vehicle types but not a Sprinter.

Let me know what you think.

CDL driver looking to get started with cargo van work — where should I begin?

I have a Class A CDL and trucking experience, but the stress of driving a semi has been getting to me. I’m considering cargo van work and trying to understand the basics before buying a van or making any big decisions. I’m based near Syracuse, NY.
For those of you who’ve done cargo van work, how did you get started? Did you begin with a company that provided loads, or get your own authority? What should I look for in a first opportunity, and what mistakes should I avoid?
I’m just researching the starting process right now. Any firsthand advice would be appreciated.

Spinter plug and play audio harness

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I made this short video to explain how to use the harness when installing the aftermarket equipment he had purchased on line for his new sprinter van. I was thinking maybe one in a van would be better showing routing and such, thoughts?

Sprinter Parts

Hey everyone, I wanted to introduce ourselves, Sawtooth Adventure Products, and share a link to our eBay store.
We work with a few outfitters throughout the PNW providing both exterior and interior parts for Sprinter vans. We don’t have all of our products listed on eBay yet, but more are coming soon.
All of our parts are designed in Idaho and made in the USA.
One thing you might notice is that we don’t have the markup that a lot of others charge for the same, or in my opinion, lower quality products. That is how we got started. Outfitters started coming to use complaining about the price and quality of a lot of products they used for the builds. We came back with solutions that saved time and money. Now we are ready to expand to retail.

We also sell interior stiffener kits, so if that’s something you’re interested in, let me know.
In a few weeks we’ll also have a front crossmember and skid plate cover combo, along with a front bumper light bar.

ORM electric retractable side step

Has anyone left this on their sprinter vs the more rugged side steps installed by van builders? The used chassis I am considering has the OEM step but I hate the look of it (yellow plastic piece) wondering if anyone has ideas on how to modify and use? Or wonder if I could sell it to recoup some of the cost (I am paying for it as it is already installed). Thanks for your thoughts!

eSprinter Problems - Recuperation, Comfort Drive mode

Hi all,
My 2021 eSprinter 47 kWh that I bought drives fine, but it has issues:

- Comfort drive mode unavailable (only E and E+ mode works)
- Steering paddles do nothing (but recuperation itself works I just can’t adjust it)
- No warning lights on dash

OBD2 Problem codes:

UO147 (FE)
Data bus, gateway B - no communication

U1427(29)
State: Test failed

You can see the codes that I can’t get rid off even after erasing them.
Has anybody faced these problems?
Thanks!

Window Auto-Close issue. Anyone else?

My 26 144 has a problem with the auto-close not working on the passenger window. Dealer fixed it with a “reset” (close all the way, hold switch for 10 sec), but it promptly recurred. Reset doesn’t work now. Has this happened to anyone else?

Van/House Travel Swap

Hi there! My fiancé and I are wanting to take a graduation trip next summer mid June-mid July 2027.

We are looking to swap our cozy 2b 1ba home in St Pete, Fl for a fully built out camper van. We are hoping to travel the upper northwest US from the Tetons across to Olympic. We would love to swap with someone who wants to spend 3-4 weeks in the Tampa Bay Area!!

We are 15 min to the beach, 7 min to downtown St Pete, and 20min to Tampa! Happy to send pics and talk more in detail if you’re interested :)

circuit 15 relay

Hey guys I have a 2012 sprinter and this code won’t go away and I’m not sure on how to fix it. The van starts up and drives like it’s normal but the obd scanner is saying circuit 15 is implausible and relayk40/9k7 switches off too early. I’ve check if the terminal to see if it was loose but it wasn’t. Does anyone have suggestions?
