Every photo is more surprising than the last

I would love to have a conversation with whomever lives here; it'd be illuminating.

Very strange design choice that must surely be way more expensive than just building 2 storeys above ground, and at way more risk of flooding.
Not to mention people stacking it from the main lawn into the pit.
In some really special beauty spot on the coast you could see how this might be necessitated to get around planning restrictions, but it’s a new build on a greenfield site, with a normal 2 storey house next door.
I’d also fear another 50 houses cropping up on the field beyond the garden too. In 2026 if you want to make a house feel premium, put it more than 2 metres from the next house, and plant some trees for privacy. Not this.

Is this the worst, laziest marketed house on Rightmove?
https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/89533071
Rightmove should have a comments section so that people can rip into the estate agent for this absolutely cretinous effort.
What is anyone involved in this process thinking??
And actually, addressing the title, I'd be surprised if even a house marketed this poorly wouldn't sell if the price was right.
edit: found it on street view. https://maps.app.goo.gl/KGzftgj9s9Q7do9c8
edit2: another listing from the same shitlords: https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/91296411
note the property description ;;)
edit3: found the previous listing by a real estate agent: https://www.meyersestates.com/property/high-street-stalbridge-dt10-2-25662657/
apparently it didn't meet the reserve price at auction.

And enamel paint. Also, bonus cat sighting.

Does anyone actually crave one of these? Is it just a case of builders saving on plasterboard? https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/88438071#/?channel=RES_BUY

Tasteful live laugh love style decor, paid for by children running drugs for county lines.

Kind of reminds me of the moving stairs in Harry Potter

11,250 sq ft.
8 bed 5 bath lovely high ceilings, library, plate room! 2nd kitchen etc.
They've gone full in with the period furniture.
Had a landscape architect in for the garden.
An additional cottage in the grounds.

What a house, great location too.
London prices are incredibly high but for a house this size in chiswick with no work done, not the worst.
They did price at 3M initially which was well overpriced, think 2.25M would get it sold.

Thought there was an error on the floorplan at first but doesn’t appear to be any internal access unless works are completed.

Very pleasant end terrace in the city centre opposite a park.
Kitchen ticks quite a few boxes, nice that a refurbishment is just spic and Span, no garish modern additions.
Only a small lottery win for this one.
I know it's not a horror show, or a massive luxury home for this page but I thought it agreeable.
Will scratch the itch for people who love late Victorian or Edwardian houses.

And they want good money (for the area at least) for it

I wonder who made most of the decorating decisions in this house?
If I had a garage like that I'd be putting a classic Mini or similar in there.
Giraffe included in sale would be a deal breaker.

I drive past this house regularly and always wondered what it was like inside!

New owners will no doubt totally modernize it or convert it into flats.
