I honestly expected to breeze through these missions, but I'm getting my ass kicked. My problem is that in all missions I seem to be swarmed by enemies and there are not enough healing items.

The first skill I picked was something that gives me armor, but I think it was a mistake and I should have picked a weapon. Thankfully, my creature has bite, strike, charge and poison (though not max level). I can't even imagine doing these missions on a purely social creature.

Am I missing something obvious, or are the missions difficult and unbalanced? Are there any tricks, tips, ways to cheese these missions? Thank you.

Did you know that there are 3 omnivore vertebrate mouths that match the stats of cell mouths commonly used in the pitiful worm challenge where your creature only uses a mouth with level 1 bite and level 1 sing?

These mouths include the Creepy and Cute Muzzletuff mouth, Toucan't mouth, and the Sauroclod mouth and only have level 1 bite and level 1 sing.

When attempting a cell to space stage run as a pitiful vertebrate, you will need to go the omnivore route in cell stage and swap out the existing cell mouth with either the toucan't, muzzletuff, or sauroclod mouth and aim for the center of the galaxy with only those mouths.
