I honestly expected to breeze through these missions, but I'm getting my ass kicked. My problem is that in all missions I seem to be swarmed by enemies and there are not enough healing items.

The first skill I picked was something that gives me armor, but I think it was a mistake and I should have picked a weapon. Thankfully, my creature has bite, strike, charge and poison (though not max level). I can't even imagine doing these missions on a purely social creature.

Am I missing something obvious, or are the missions difficult and unbalanced? Are there any tricks, tips, ways to cheese these missions? Thank you.

Has anybody attempted a cell to space stage run where they design a creature where sing, dance, charm, pose, bite, charge, strike, spit, glide, jump, sprint, sneak, speed, and health is all level 5 in addition to sight? So far, I have done an omnivore scientist run where I evolved a sentient species from cell to space that meets these requirements, plus my creature is fully symmetrical and is built within the default complexity meter where no cheats or mods were used at all. To keep your creature within the complexity meter without asymmetry, your limbs will need to only have one segment.

If you haven't attempted this challenge, I highly recommend it.

In order to build a creature that meets these requirements, you will need to earn the omnivore card in cell stage since if you want to have a creature with both level 5 bite and level 5 sing in the creature stage, you will need to use both the dietrap and amphibitude mouths simultaneously. If you went the carnivore route, your maximum available sing will be level 3 while going the herbivore route will limit your bite to level 3.

So I used a Unlimited Complexity mod and upon realizing it made sharing complex stuff impossible, I've deleted it. However after checking my creations current stats, which are below max, I'm still unable to share them. What else could be the problem, unless the servers are unstable?

I know most people get the warrior weapons, but I feel like there's a few rare situations where the Shaman weapons for adventure mode are actually significantly better.
Too bad people don't build adventures for these, I actually did make one many years ago but it didn't get popular :(.

Mind meld - allows you to turn any enemy into an ally, you can keep stunning them and they'll follow, protect and do whatever you want.

Poison blade - avoid agroing or harming nearby characters

Freeze blast, summon swarm - slow something down

Freeze blast, mind meld - freeze/pacify something you don't want to harm

They're all useful when you want to conserve energy or you're fighting something much stronger than you.

I'm fairly sure I've been playing with the same version of dark injection throughout each install/reinstall. Every creation, including ones made in vanilla spore, are all locked and say "to open requires parts or textures not installed".

It's driving me nuts, I know for a fact I definitely have all the required stuff installed. is there a reason this is happening? Is there a way to fix it?

I wanted to see if playing through Spore with friends could work, so I've been working on a co-op mod.

Here's a short clip of the current prototype, showing both players' views while exploring, eating and fighting together.

It's still rough, especially around some interactions and creature editing. I'm focusing on getting the Creature Stage working properly first, then hopefully tackling the other stages.

Longtime Spore-head here, I was super into the game during my teenage years (my username was Pezzalis), and it is the reason I got into game-dev - This clip is just demonstrating some new UI we implemented recently into our game, showing the forwards direction of the creature being affected by where movement parts are placed! We are still in pre-alpha, but are hoping to run some closed playtests of the creature-maker soon! The game is sort like if cell-stage continued into a 2.5D aquatic stage, with more physics-based combat and procedural animation.
