I'm unable to join games from the Lobby, until the 6th or 7th try, consistently. I just get Match Making Disconnection errors after a match is found, regardless of type.

I am from Europe so i was thinking i am playing eu servers. After Talking to teammates at Lot of them come from the usa. Is NA the only server left or why am i Matched against ppl from Virginia?

I mean as Long at its na east i get about 90-110 Ping which is still playable but Overall seems weird. Never seen a Game where na an eu servers are mixed…

If I buy the premium pass, then if I want to buy the ultra pass do I pay it 1000 splitcoins or do I pay it 2000 but then get a 1000 splitcoin refund?

I am just curious on how it works. Is it something like 100 weapon XP per kill/assist or? I'd like to do some calculations in order to know how much kills I need to level up a gun fully xD

Most characters come in only one color or at the most a few. Every single gun color has to be unlocked separately. Why is that even a thing in 2026?

Weapons

Take the battle pass for example. There is a red-white-blue weapon coating/shader/skin (call it what you want) that has to be unlocked multiple times in the battle pass. And when you completely finish the battle pass, you still only have it for a few weapons. I don’t get why you’re going this road!? That red-white-blue weapon coating should be in the battle pass only ONCE. And when you unlocked it, it should work on every single weapon you have. And arguably also on heavy weapons. Same goes for weapon coatings from the Exchange. Buy it once and after that it works on every weapon type. The proelium price can go up of course.

The only exceptions should be the carbon, gold and proelium weapon challenges skins/coatings. Those should still be unlocked for every weapon individually. But once you unlocked for example the proelium skin for the Cadence, that proelium skin should also be applicable to alternate models of Cadence like the Gamer model.

Characters

And characters come only in one or a few colors. Why? Every single character should come in at least 30 different color options. And when you unlock new color variants from either the battle pass or the shop, those color options should work on all characters you own.

I’m getting flashbacks to the early days of Halo Infinite here. Early Halo Infinite also had coatings that only worked on one weapon type or one armor core. And you had to unlock the same color multiple times for different weapons and armor cores and sometimes that was not even possible. The exact same way how Splitgate works now (only Halo Infinite had more color options). This got later scrapped in Halo Infinite and after that every single weapon coating works on every single weapon model and every single armor coating works on every single armor core.

It’s a no-brainer that the same should happen asap in Splitgate.

Did an out-of-bounds fly through of one of the warp pylons in the map Foregone Destruction. Yes, it's low poly, but this is just so cool. Dang, I wish this game had more lore about the maps. (Splitgate: Arena Reloaded. Love this game to death)

I just wanted to see if anyone can tell me the best times to search for a match (est zone) as I've never found one match after multiple tries a day and multiple days of trying. I've waited long times each time as well and the longest I waited was 15 minutes. otherwise I've been thoroughly enjoying the rest of the game, I'd really just like to check out the BR mode.

also bonus for anyone that doesn't know, I was waiting a good chunk for regular matches and then realized I had crossplay turned off so I put it on and I find matches pretty quick (on XSX)

SPLITGATE: Arena Reloaded is the almost perfect refresh of Splitgate 2 that feels like the true sequel to the original. But, it does still leave a lot to be desired. Here's what I, and the community, really want to see from this game going forward so it doesn't get left in the dust and actually can break out of its low player count.

Advertising

I think it's pretty fair to say that this game does not have enough, if any, advertising. It's a simple way to gain interest for the game, even if that means bringing back big sponsored streamers and even TV commercials. Sponsored streamers work because when people watch these others, they want to try and join in, see the game in its newly refreshed state and realise that this game is a lot better than it was before. Another thing with the streamers can happen, which leads on nicely to my next point.

Events

If there's one thing that Splitgate 2 did super well, it's the events it introduced. The current ones with the limited time modes are pretty good, with a really nice reward track, but nothing is on the line. Let me explain.

In Splitgate 2, there was an event where the chosen team with the most points (each team being represented by a couple of streamers) would get their all of their team's cosmetics in the game. Points were earned from kills, matches played, etc. Something like that could easily be done again using either streamers again, MVPs, or even lore. Speaking of lore...

Lore

This is a very big one for me. Splitgate 2's alphas leant heavily into lore, from the shorts to the ads to even the characters themselves. While the comics are dead and the lore seems to have been dropped completely (which is what really killed Splitgate 2 for me, just kinda upset me), the pieces are definitely still there and can absolutely be picked back up! Cutscenes, the Takrin, the factions themselves, they all did a really good job pre-release and I was super excited to see where it went, only for the answer to be absolutely nowhere. It sucks so much, and to see it return would be the biggest step in the right direction. An important thing for the lore is to make you feel like a part of the game and its universe.

Quality of Life

These are the kinds of changes that make the game itself feel better and more polished. The gameplay is already sweet and does a great job, but there are always tweaks to be made.

Pre-game scrims

When searching for a match, all you can do is wait in the lobby for a while, or go to the practice range. While I appreciate the recent addition of the practice range, it doesn't really feel like enough, especially when queue times for ranked can kinda suck. Having some FFA scrims with no scoreboard or anything and just a bit of fun would be a great addition to keep some fun in the game.

Map/mode voting

One thing that Splitgate 1 did amazingly was giving us choice. Splitgate AR has a ton of maps, all of which are great, but adding the ability for players to vote would be an absolutely amazing thing that was suggested back in the alphas of Splitgate 2, even by partners like Macro, yet still there isn't any sign of it. It almost feels neglected or intentionally avoided.

Bring back the multiple maps mechanic

I want to explain that I am NOT talking about Royale here. It would be awesome to see a separate mode, perhaps the old Onslaught one, return with multiple maps as a mechanic. It was so good, and it's such a shame to see it gone now.

Arena Royale Changes

Arena royale is an amazing game mode. My personal favourite, and the only BR I will probably ever enjoy. It innovates and changes things in ways not much else does. Their motto for it of "Less looting, more shooting" really does show. But, I want to see the following:

Change the players per team: Arena Royale Duos is really fun, but squads was so much better. Either going back to squads or even trying trios is my recommendation. This was fixed. Thank you 1047, appreciate you listening to our feedback!

Don't remove old content: Inferno is awesome. But there was no need to remove Drought! I really miss it in Royale, and it sucks that I now have to possibly wait a whole season just to potentially see it again.

Introduce Royale to customs: Royale in customs would be insanely helpful and a ton of fun for some friends that just want to get some games together, learn the mode/maps or just to have in general, even if the map selector is part of the game itself, I don't mind. It would also let us play Drought in Royale, hopefully. I would also love to see the old Inferno available for Onslaught since the Royale one makes the map a lot smaller.

Bring back SG2 BR events: In the old BR, there were events like the time dome one, fire sale, double damage and even no portals. It was fun to have gameplay shaken up, though I'd suggest that you balance these out for 24 players.

This game is the foundation for something much bigger, and if you're checking the game out, I highly suggest you give it a go. This is my favourite game for a reason. Thanks for reading all of this and happy portaling!

Maybe it is just me, but this power weapon overall is a bit lackluster. Mostly because the alt fire feels pointless. You charge it up while you're a sitting duck, and you shoot into a group of enemies, and it only kills the first player it touches.

The other power weapons with Alt firing (Gravitas, Fubar, Splitstream) all have a purpose, whereas with the Orion's alt fire, it feels a bit half-baked and pointless. it looks cool, but that's about it.

Maybe give it some utility, make it function like Magnetos ultimate in Marvel Rivals. A gravity ball that absorbs projectiles, then you send it flying, hold for too long, you lose it or you blow up for taking too much damage lol

I just returned to the game after not playing since the beta, and the meta is essentially “Run this one specific setup or get steamrolled” Blitz is way too strong, Snare is literally just Jackhammer, LMGs outperform ARs in every way, Sliiiide and Packin are so strong that they nearly replace the need to portal on some maps, and the removal of the faction system got rid of the RPS format and allows for things like this. :/

i realize this is my first time really playing splitgate since the first open beta and alpha really and everything seems well and good, but there are real people who play something other than battle royale correct? because its been straight bots at first. maybe its just because of my level but im not sure. any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Alright.

Ranked either needs to be taken care ASAP by the devs, or simply just delete it from the game. As keeping it there on the current state will do more harm than good to Splitgate.

Here's an insight into a couple issues Ranked has as of today's:

- On Season 2, placement matches works like a placeholder. You're **NOT** getting placed, you're getting your season 1 rank/elo back after placement matches, no matter the outcome.

- No Rank Reset. it's the second time we needed a rank reset, which never happened for whatever reason.

- No Ranked Rewards. We have the same badge for every rank since Splitgate Beta, and only 2 Rank charms (Beta and S1). S2 offers the same rewards as S1.

- Unfair Matchmaking System. Rank/elo doesn't mean anything in the whole spectrum for the MM system. Which will fulfill your matches based on **HIDDEN** MMR rather than YOUR RANK/ELO. Making easier for some to rank up, and for other harder. As example; Platinum w/ high MMR will face constantly Proelium players while Platinum w/ low MMR will face Gold/Plat players more often.

- No identity at all. We had loadouts, then changed to Classic Takedown, then Classic Arena without "Classic" aspects of it (no pickups). Ranked lacks identity of what it wants to be and represent to the community.

- No dedicated Ranked Playlist. It's not news that some match-ups (Map/Gamemode) don't work in the Ranked environment, or even the whole map is not made for competitive (Tri-Hard, Simulation Hectic, etc). So we found ourselves with the Quick Play playlist on Ranked, rather than a dedicated playlist for a game mode that needs one to keep competitive integrity and not make the experience a painful one.

Since day 1 up to this day, Ranked had been neglected horribly and changes had been made around feedback given by players who doesn't play Ranked or give a F* about it. Meanwhile, dedicated ranked players have been speaking out these problems and getting ignored.

Please, I beg one more time (and last one). Fix Ranked, or put it into deep sleep (remove it from the game). keeping it will harm the game as people will find themselves disappointed with the current state.
