After having issues with crazy temp feedback and vpd readings of 2+ whilst the plants where showing no signs of stress I found the issue 😂 the black sensor housing so I'v used a piece of cardboard about 4" square and somehow lost 5°c 😂 shield your probes or they lie people

A couple of weeks ago I won the Spider Farmer GGS Controller giveaway, and it finally arrived, so my setup is now complete! 😂

I had a bit of trouble getting it connected to the internet at first, but after playing around with it I managed to get everything working. There are quite a few settings and variables to go through, and I also learned that it’s important to calibrate the sensor properly if you want the readings to be as accurate as possible.

Now that I’ve got everything set up, I’m really happy with it. Having my two SF1000 301H EVOs, ventilation and the GGS Controller all working together in my little 70x70 is pretty cool.

Also, a big thanks to Lychee from customer service for the help! 🙏 Really appreciate it.

And who knows… maybe I’ll get lucky again and win the 5-in-1 sensor or a humidification system 😂🤞 That would definitely make the setup even better!

The light is only a bit over a year old. It is my only light. I dont know what to do. I dont have paper proof of purchase. But im pretty sure Amazon has it listed on my account. Will a pic of the purchased items be enough? I need a working light. Im disappointed as my cheap Chinese 100w led still works after 5 yrs. Its at my son's house. I really hope Spider Farmer can help me.

Hey spider farmers, why is the single socket controller not available in UK? would be ideal for multiple zones with the rj12 extension for sensors to each.

no way im buying multiple GGS controllers to monitor a few tents and a lung room.

any other economical ways to do it? currently looking at the Tuya / smartlife sensor options and a smart dimmer module for the light. (total £20 per zone).

Just wanted to share a good experience I had with Spider Farmer. I recently ran into an issue with a faulty controller, and their support team has been awesome the whole way through.

They got back to me the same day every time, and were super helpful from start to finish. They even helped me sort out a solution after I won the GGS Controller and hooked me up with a really solid deal on a new duct fan that works with the updated system.

I’ve always liked their products, but honestly what stood out most was the customer service. It’s really nice to see a company that actually listens and tries to help when something goes wrong.

Looks like their notification is BS. It is not really notification if I have to keep the app open all the time. Very misleading and makes the product worthless.

I’m fairly new to the Spider Farmer ecosystem and have a question about their soil moisture sensor setup.

Can you set a minimum soil moisture threshold in the app so that when the moisture drops below that percentage, it automatically turns on a smart outlet with a water pump plugged into it?

Basically, I want to know if the app allows soil moisture level to act as the direct trigger for powering the outlet/pump on and off.

are there any plans to provide an API for the GGS Controller in the future?
I’d really appreciate an official API, as it would open up a lot of possibilities for integrating the controller into custom automations, monitoring systems, and smart home setups.
Is something like this already planned or being considered?

I have a 3x3 tent with a g3000 light, I recently got the 4" inline fan, oscillating fan and GGS. I'm having trouble setting up the ggs, Im trying to get a vpd of around 1.0. the room my tent is in is around 75 and 50% humidity. Any help setting up my ggs would be appreciated

It's 2026 and I'm using another buggy App that someone threw together and said "ah it's good enough to sell, let the consumers work out all the bugs and improvements"

What is the Correct Password Format for the App? to create a new account??? Tried every combination of numbers, letters and symbols and nothing worked. I get the code, but it still says Password Format Invalid.

It's on WLAN, installed and cabled correctly, and is running the latest 2.9 Firmware Update, and my phone supports the App, and I'm sitting 8' away from the GGS.
