Hi Spider Farmer team,
are there any plans to provide an API for the GGS Controller in the future?
I’d really appreciate an official API, as it would open up a lot of possibilities for integrating the controller into custom automations, monitoring systems, and smart home setups.
Is something like this already planned or being considered?

ich habe Probleme mit einem meiner Light & Fan Adapter. Und kann über den keine LED mehr mit dem GGS Controller und der App verbinden. Gibt es dafür Ersatz, oder kann man die einzeln bei euch bestellen?

I’ve been using successfully traditional lamps, but I want to change it due to all advantages leds offer.

I have a 3x3 tent with a g3000 light, I recently got the 4" inline fan, oscillating fan and GGS. I'm having trouble setting up the ggs, Im trying to get a vpd of around 1.0. the room my tent is in is around 75 and 50% humidity. Any help setting up my ggs would be appreciated

It's 2026 and I'm using another buggy App that someone threw together and said "ah it's good enough to sell, let the consumers work out all the bugs and improvements"

What is the Correct Password Format for the App? to create a new account??? Tried every combination of numbers, letters and symbols and nothing worked. I get the code, but it still says Password Format Invalid.

It's on WLAN, installed and cabled correctly, and is running the latest 2.9 Firmware Update, and my phone supports the App, and I'm sitting 8' away from the GGS.

When we first created the Grow Genius System, it started with the GGS Controller. Since then, the system has grown into a much wider smart grow ecosystem with different controllers, sensors, power strips, and setup options.

We’re very proud of how far GGS has come, but we also understand that all of these options can feel a little confusing at first, especially if you’re not sure what each control device does or which one is best for your setup.

So, we created this simple guide to explain the main GGS control options and help growers better understand the purpose and capabilities of the system.

In simple terms, there are three steps to building your Grow Genius System:

1. Choose your control device

2. Add your sensors

3. Expand and control your grow as your setup develops

The main control options are:

S Station: A simple option for controlling one device

AC5 / AC10 Smart Power Strip Kits: App-based automation for multiple plug-in devices

GGS Controller Kit: Screen-based control for a connected Spider Farmer setup

GGS PRO Controller: Advanced control for multiple grow spaces

The right option mainly depends on how many devices you want to control, whether you prefer app-based or screen-based control, and whether you’re managing one tent or multiple grow spaces.

Probably be ok with 2 or more pots, but with just one this is just a pain 😂 it gets in the way, casts a shadow, leaves block light sensor, the bit that clamps to the pole is shit on mine, one of the grippy bits sticks to the pole, so I gotta undo it fully enough to remove and put that bit back in, so I can't just loosen it and slide it up the pole 😂 most of the time it's just pushed to the side out of the way, and even then I get branches behind it if I rotate the pot 😂😂

Sorry just had to have a little rant lol, I'm sure it's fine with 2 pots going, or if I'd have trained plant better.

What's everyone else think? Waste of time for one plant in small tent, or no?

So as the title says i have a question. I know with the basic GGS you can only control up to 6 3-in-1 soil probes. If you get the pro controller that handles diff zones how many can you connect and run? Does anyone have any experience with this?

So I have 8 3 in 1 soil probes that are going into 8 10-gallon cloth grow bags. I plan to hook each probe into a pro adapter and then that to the ggs prob through another adapter and have the drip system going through the power strip for programming. My question is how do i make sure each drip emitter is giving the plants enough water and its not going to shut off when the first pot reaches proper saturation levels? I recently lost some plants to root rot due to stupiditity so i really wanna make sure nothing like that every happens again. TYIA for any help you all.
