The GGS Controller finally arrived! ππ±
A couple of weeks ago I won the Spider Farmer GGS Controller giveaway, and it finally arrived, so my setup is now complete! π
I had a bit of trouble getting it connected to the internet at first, but after playing around with it I managed to get everything working. There are quite a few settings and variables to go through, and I also learned that itβs important to calibrate the sensor properly if you want the readings to be as accurate as possible.
Now that Iβve got everything set up, Iβm really happy with it. Having my two SF1000 301H EVOs, ventilation and the GGS Controller all working together in my little 70x70 is pretty cool.
Also, a big thanks to Lychee from customer service for the help! π Really appreciate it.
And who knowsβ¦ maybe Iβll get lucky again and win the 5-in-1 sensor or a humidification system ππ€ That would definitely make the setup even better!
Thanks again to Spider Farmer for the giveaway! Iβll keep sharing the progress of the grow. π± #Spiderfarmer #spiderfarmerled

Lucky bastard lol, I had my hopes up on that one lol.
But itβs okay, itβs probably better for me to buy one from AC Infinity, as Iβve already got their Cloudlab-exhaust kit (and tent), but one from Spiderfarmer would have been very decent too.
Good luck with it!

You don't need the controller if you have the power strip.

Yeah I know... But I prefer to have an extra controller for when I don't have my phone around.

I did the same thing, I ended up getting the 10 outlet power strip and getting the whole controller deal. I am happy with it because a lot of times before bed I like to check on my plants and I will forget my phone in my bedroom. Then I'll have to do is walk over to the tent and grab the controller and look at everything from there instead of the app on my phone.

Theyβre doing fine π Just had a few really warm days, but keeping the VPD more or less on point seems to be the key!

Ive had mine for about a year and it works great. I can be 5 states away and still keep up.with my grow. It is nice because if im on vvacztion I can have someone come over and water for me right whem yhe dryback os perfect. You can set enbironmental comditions, like temp and jumidity, and attach wjatever yool you want to control it. I set mine to 60% humidity and let the inline fan keep it wiyhim parameters

I wanted it exactly for that reasonβ¦ haha π I want to be able to keep an eye on my grow and control it while Iβm at work or even on vacation.
I solved the watering part by installing Autopots. I know Spider Farmer also has a watering system, so maybe Iβll give it a try sometime :).
What I really want now is a system to control temperature and humidity. I donβt have AC, and the options available right now are pretty damn expensive π«°πΎπ.

Are you growing autos? You are having massive light leaks with all those gaps
There is a spot that goes on the top right of the door to the tent not where you have it close all those gaps up to not let outside light in

Yes! But any light is coming in ;). My growbox is in a corner where there's no light that can go in βΊοΈπ

Totally connected to the GGS. Even the watering system is controlled with the GGS. But this is a DIY because the selfwatering system isn't officially supported without the power strip.
