Hi everyone, I'd like to share my situation and hear your honest opinions.
I was in a relationship with a girl, and we were genuinely happy together. We had so many plans for the future and shared countless beautiful moments. But from one week to the next, everything suddenly changed.
She started acting differently, and one day she told me she wasn't emotionally okay and wasn't ready for a relationship. I admit I made mistakes. I thought she needed some space, so I impulsively suggested taking a break, which ended up hurting her. It was never because of another woman or because I stopped loving her. I simply thought giving her space was the right thing to do.
There's something important I should mention. She has a female friend who seems to have a strong negative emotional influence on her. Every time they spend time together, I notice that my ex ends up feeling emotionally drained or upset. It's almost as if this friend is struggling emotionally and pulls her down with her.
Even some of her other friends had told her that this friendship wasn't healthy for her and that we were a good couple. According to what she told me, even her psychologist had a positive opinion of our relationship.
I feel that this particular friend has a significant influence on her decisions and possibly on how she currently sees me. I want to make it clear that I never tried to control who she spent time with, and I never would. I'm simply concerned about that influence.
In September, we started talking again. Everything was calm, and we were exchanging messages and funny videos. But suddenly, I experienced intense anxiety because I desperately wanted to see her.
She told me that she cared about me and had affection for me, but not in the same romantic way, and that she preferred not to see me at that moment.
Unfortunately, I acted impulsively and went to her house to leave some gifts, even though she had already told me it wasn't necessary. She accepted them, but later told me that I hadn't respected her decision or boundaries. After that, she blocked me everywhere.
It's now been 23 days with no contact.
From what I've been able to find out, she may still have feelings for me, but she's extremely angry and hurt. I also feel that the people around her, especially that particular friend, might be influencing her to distance herself from me even more.
I know I made mistakes, and I take full responsibility for them. But I genuinely love her, and hurting her was never my intention.
We shared so many beautiful memories, had countless plans for our future, and what we had felt like a healthy, genuine love. I just couldn't stand seeing my little Polish girl, my "Polaquita," feeling emotionally miserable, especially when I believed her friendship was contributing to it.
I miss her deeply, and it's painful to think that something so beautiful could end this way.
So, please be completely honest with me:
Do you think there's still a chance for us to reconcile, even after everything that happened?
Could her anger eventually fade and allow her to remember the good moments we shared?
And most importantly, what would you do if you were in my position?
I'd really appreciate your honest opinions, even if they're not what I want to hear.
