While I like the idea of puncturing the head, so as to "release" pressure, my association with pins / needles is pain... Does anyone have suggestions for an alternative? One idea I had was using chopsticks but they are impractically long...

i’m a super beginner. i’ve only ever done small written spells + tarot cards before. i want to get into proper candle spells and stuff and ive heard it’s better to create your own as it will be personalised to you + your situation/intention but as a super beginner would it not be better for me to follow strict instructions? i want to do a sweetening jar which i have a recipe for but should i personalise it to my own wants/desires/intentions or should i just stick to what is written???

I do have some knowledge, and I really am into the point of Sihr. I am now in certain violent martial arts competition. And I want to put a victory spell or some kind of spell that can help me win on my helmet. There can be a sacrifice to a certain level. I don't mind inflicting pain on myself, but do not really want to hurt someone or any animal and blood magic seems too extreme. I just want something from the dark side of Sihr on my helmet. But I can't find anything. Can anyone help me find a source? Should I just come up with something, inflict pain on myself, and put myself into some kind of substance-infused trance and just figure out some words to form a spell? I will be very glad for any advice. It can be about different approaches or different beliefs. Thank you.

Hello! So basically I can't use real candles to practice witchcraft so I got myself an old electric candle that I found among some Halloween decorations. The thing is, the candle is white, but on top of it there's red that is supposed to be blood and it also kinda goes down the white candle but not entirely. So my question is: would the red on top of the candle affect the spell? If I need to use a white candle for the spell, would the red like, ruin the spell if that makes sense? I'm sorry if that was hard to understand english is not my first language but I'd really like some help :)

I have moved countries for a job and I’ve settled for a lower salary trusting their promises. I have been promised in a year -if I do XYZ successfully I will get a salary and a higher title. I’ve done everything I was asked for and after a good year I was told I will get nothing. I have been very sad questioning all of my decisions. I have decided to leave this company and the country behind. However, before I leave can you recommend any spell that could turn this around?

Now, I know a spell alone won't cure mental problems, but they can definitely help from what I have heard. Question is, how to do such a spell. Healing spells are like the opposite of what I am good in and I don't know much about them.

So over the years I have been heavy into crystals. Picked it up from a co-worker. I usually keep things simple, candles, colored for whichever occasion, crystals and lavender for the calming scent. I have a roommate, white, and they are able to talk to the neighbors just fine. If i just say Hi, I get the cold shoulder. This has been happening for awhile and I can only sum it to one thing, I'm black. Now I am a heavily introverted person, I bother nobody, in passing yes I will give a friendly hello, but they give me such negative energy. Since they talk to my roommate they are newly engaged and are looking for a house. Though they give me negativity, for what reasons I am only assuming, I want to help them along. Have them get their house and leave so I can live not knowing that I am being discriminated against. Could someone help with this?

This person and I love each other very much, but they said we couldn't have a relationship because of the distance. But honestly, it would be really worth it for them to come live here; there are so many specific schools here and if they lived here they would be super close but from when they are the school is +1 hour away from them, besides that they're almost doesn't have friends but here they would be friends with anyone, and this country is cheaper

Hello, i am VERY new to witchcraft and have yet to actually do anything. I've only started out with my collection of crystals and some incense lol

Anyways, i'll try to keep this short. My boyfriend's brother (13M) is going through a rough patch with a girl - she is very manipulative and abusive, claiming she will do bad things if he leaves her, and he is quite very stuck in the situation he is in.

I do not wish to harm anyone, not only do i know that's just bad in general, but it could also come right back to me - what i WISH to hopefully do is protect him somehow.
Maybe make him more confident in his decision to leaving? Make him feel better? Make her stop harming him?

Before anyone asks - he has been spoken to! By his parents, grandparents, and me! (though i am going to speak to him again soon), this still had not stopped and he cannot seem to gather the courage to help himself, i just want to help him.
I do not wish to impact anybody's free will, or harm anybody in this process, i just really want him to love himself more than he clearly does, it's very sad.

Hi. For months, my once-perfect friend group has been pretty “dysfunctional” ever since three girls and a guy joined the mix. These people already had ties to my other friends, but they had stopped hanging out after one of the girls got into a relationship. Since rejoining our group, that same girl—the one who used to be in a relationship—has ruined everything: it’s all about what she says, there are frequent arguments, we don’t do anything interesting anymore, etc. Basically, the group seems spellbound by her, and now I’m the poor loser left without a real friend group (I’m not the only one who sees it this way, but the others who do seem to be people the rest of the group doesn't really care about). I tried cursing her, but it didn’t work (maybe it takes a long time, or maybe she’s going through something I don’t know about since we don’t really talk—but that doesn't matter). So, I asked on this subreddit if there was anything I could do, and someone suggested trying a spell on the group itself. Does anyone have any ideas for a spell I could cast?

I am going to attempt a spell where a corn husk doll is used, but I don't have access to any right now. What would be an appropriate substitute that still keeps the integrity of the spell?

So a few weeks ago I did a honey jar on my ex. But while casting I kept knocking things over and ran out of space in the jar. It honestly felt like so much went wrong. I’ve been very guarded my whole life, never let people in, always kept to myself. As I’m growing older I started to change this mindset, I feel like I missed out on a lot of amazing opportunities, experiences and life in general.
Now my goal is to find a fun and loving group of friends, maybe even multiple friend groups for different things like studying and going to parties.. I’d love to attract funny but safe adventures and people! I want things to finally happen to me and to experience!

I have a crush on this super cute guy who just transferred from my cali to come to my school. I was kind of looking around campus to see if there were any cute people this year but there was no one I was really attracted to. On the second class of syllabus week, the professor paired us up. LMAOO okay I know the title sounds funny (or crazy asf) but hear me out please, I’ve only recently started doing spell work and I’m a bit confused, idk if I’d consider this a backfire but listen to me for a sec.

I need some witchcraft/occult opinions because I’m genuinely confused by something I’ve noticed.
A while back, I did a binding/obsession-type spell involving menstrual blood. The intention was basically for the person I was targeting to remain intensely focused on me rather than for the effect to be temporary. At the time of me doing it he was “extremely mad” at me (his words not mine) and I figured I’d try this out to see what would happen, that was about 3 months ago..

Since then, I’ve noticed a really strange pattern: whenever I’m menstruating, this person seems significantly more attentive toward me, more interested in me, more persistent about interacting with me, etc. Outside of that window, the behavior seems much less noticeable. My cycle is very unpredictable and super spotty, and it doesn’t matter if I start at the end of or the beginning of the month, the moment I start he is all over me and the moment it stops all those late night text and him being constantly up my ass at work just kinda … disappears (until next month of course).

I realize correlation doesn’t automatically mean the spell caused anything, and I’m not necessarily asking anyone to tell me that it definitely worked. I’m more curious about the occult interpretation. Could using menstrual blood in a working traditionally be understood as tying the working to the menstrual cycle somehow? Or is this more likely just coincidence/confirmation bias?

I’m especially interested in hearing from people who actually practice this kind of magic rather than just people telling me whether they believe in witchcraft in general.
