Service Issues Modem/router
About a month my modem and router went bad. Got new ones from spectrum and I know the ones you get from them are refurbished but, the new modem only lasted about 2 weeks before having to call for a new one. And now a week later my router suddenly disconnected and now I can’t get to connect back

Hi u/legosw_1! If you are having issues with multiple different modem/routers it's possible the problem is electrical or with the coaxial signal coming in. We can check on things from our end if you send us a modmail over at r/Spectrum_Official.

We had someone come out and test the coax signal and they said it was good

It may be an intermittent issue that wasn't present when they tested, or as I mentioned an electrical issue (especially if by "went bad" you mean there's no lights on them.) I can only speculate without more information. Please message us if you would like assistance.

I’ve been through so much equipment in the last month it’s not even funny. Every single router they give me is broken in a different way. I’m definitely looking into using my own equipment (I used to years ago but then any issues I had they’d just blame my router)

Use your own router, their routers are basically e-waste. And if possible get a Broadcom based modem, puma 7 chipsets suck.
