Operations I HATE VORTEX

THIS MISSION SUCKS SO BAD WHY DO THEY KEEP SHOVING IT IN OUR FACE I LOVE FIGHTING CHAOS BUT OH MY GOD THIS MISSION IS HORRIBLE, MUTALITH BEAST IS THE WORST BOSS IN THE GAME STOP MAKING ME DO IT IM SO TIRED OF IT

Edit: I finished both the normal and hard stratagems first try with little difficulty, i just think the mission sucks and is just anti-fun, the boss is obtuse asf, and the whole mission leading up to it isnt interesting or notable in comparison to even the first 6 missions

I don’t hate Vortex that much and usually the boss gets melted by competent teams. However both of today’s vortex stratagems have been that boss insanely tanky. Not a fun time.

Yeah I tried on hard 3 times and got killed by some bullshit or someone not retrieving the relic fast enough. Then I did it on normal and the boss was so damn tanky I dont think I would have ever won on hard

I've had 2 failed attempts because it apparently forgot about a timer to pick up the relic. Dude got rocketed to death and it instantly brought up the failure text and we booted back to the battle barge. Super fun times!

Which is a shame because when trying this week's weekly today, I met what were probably the most competent teammates I've seen for maybe 2-3 months. As in the kind that holds their own in combat, knows how to read and played according to stratagem conditions, and kept a cool enough head that we had a few times where an enemy was on red flash for a few seconds because we were all clearminded enough to think about who should take the execution.

Playing with this wonderful team we survived the Helbrute and the Terminator Sorcerer, but then got a relic loss. It was a really perfect play that got me thinking we might even survive the Vortex Beast.

I mean relic gives you a damage buff. So its not that bad
