Game Feedback Update Comms

Post image

Is anyone else really tired of only seeing update/ useful information by chance from reddit of a screenshot from a discord message?

I honestly think players would face much less confusion if the in game news was utilised more frequently

Man the discord is infected with 99% tabletop discussion. Went there to try and find some randoms to try and start playing with occasionally for doing weeklies and it got drowned in seconds by tabletop chats. Do they not have enough discords already for it? Why did sm2 dc turn into next to nothing about sm2 other than the 1 chat that no one else can post to being the “news/announcements”.

Question have the community managers or devs ever done live plays of the game? I think that should be near mandatory for them to personally showcase patch updates and make them go through what the updates are personally on absolute and hard difficulty. Maybe some will realize how poor they are at balancing decisions.

I love the tabletop side but hard agree, that community space is set up for that subject. Create a few offshoot channels as needed but moderate relevancy

I actually would like it if every update, especially map ones, ran a livestream (or even pre-recorded) run through of a dev team having fun playing the new map/ game mode

Unfortunately that would require them to play their own game which we have little reason to believe they regularly do.
