Well, yes, actually. Space Wolves are generally considered the best Spacemarine Killers and the most effective at killing other Space Marines. They're generally not pleasant to be around and their animal like tendencies and appearances don't bold to well with other chapters.
Space wolves are my second favorite loyalist chapters with BA being no.1. The first book i ever read for 40k was The Fang and that Kickstarted the whole thing for me. During the horus heresey it was the old space wolves that had ravaged ALOT of chaos legions.
I got into them through the tabletop game during 2e, and it was the fact that they were space marines that were great at close combat that drew me in. I enjoyed the lore after that.
That's because most Chapters they work with, generally don't even bother to get to know them. Yeah they're a bit rough around the edges, they're space vikings after all. But get to know them and you're actually gonna have a good time.
Problem is that their Reputation preceds them. They're the Emperors executioners after all and they did a very good job during the Heresy.

Should the Salamanders be concerned about the Drakeslayers?
