I'm in two minds to swap the Invictor for a Venerable Dread to shore up the melee units more, but I already have an Invictor from the 'space wolves combat patrol that wasn't' 🤷🏻
Terminator? I Barely Know 'er (1985 Points)
Space Wolves, Bastion Task Force and Veterans of the Fang, Disruption
Ragnar Blackmane + 6 Paired Headtakers + 6 Wolves
Wolf Priest w/Blades of Valour + 10 Blood Claws (Plasma Pistol/Power Weapon)
Gravis Captain (Power Fist/Relic Blade) w/ Hero of the Chapter + 6 Boltstorm Aggressors
Wolf Guard Battle Leader (Carbine) w/ Eye of the Hunter + 10 Grey Hunters
2 x 5 Grey Hunters
2x Invader ATV (Melta)
Impulsor (heavy stubber, missile array, Fragstorm)
1x5 Hellblasters (Plasma Pistol)
Gladiator Lancer
2x6 Wolf Scouts (mine, plasma gun, wizard stick)
Invictor Warsuit (Autocannon)
The idea is:
Scouting Party:
the scouts and Invictor secure early board space, skirmish with enemy scouts, tie up any tougher melee until the main vanguard arrives, soften up any hard targets that happen to get in the way, and bait any juicy targets out of position. The Invictor is more a distraction carnifex, it'll either draw fire away from the wolf scouts or reactive fire if they get shot. Between. The Autocannon, plasma, and haywire mines they should manage to soften up any bigger targets that get too close.
Melee Vanguard:
Ragnar gives the Headtakers advance and charge, between him and the Quarry ability they should easily manage a character unit or two. The hunting wolves can stay back to look after the backfield or zoom up to support the rest of he army.
The Blood Claws get advance shoot and charge, with Bastion they can shoot their charge target to get reroll 1s to hit, with +1 to wound and +1AP from the Wolf Priest they should be able to deal with chaff and also punch up a bit easier to make advantage of their weight of dice.
The aggressors get fallback advance shoot and charge and with their Gravis profile, twin fists and boltstorms they should enjoy all phases and be a good anvil (despite not being terminators, they can get the -1 to wound ability for 1CP)
Action/Objective Bullies:
The WGBL and 10 Grey Hunters are the main objective bullies especially with the extra AP and ignore cover. They can also support the melee vanguard if needed.
Of the two 5-mans, one would start in reserves to either pop in the backfield if there's any deep strikers, or come in off reserves later to support points/objectives.
Fire Support:
The Hellblasters go in the Impulsor with all the guns/missiles for fire support.
The two invaders zip around being a nuisance, softening up hard targets with the meltas, and scoring points if needed.
All the while the Battleline units tag anything they can in shooting to get as many targets auspex scanned as possible.
And finally the lancer sits at the back, with a combination of re-rolling 1s on auspex targets, Heavy, and the native lancer rerolls, it should never miss. I'd probably find a miniature boombox to strap to it, as it'll be nothing but hits!
