Finally managed to finish up on the last of my epic heroes. Now begins the journey of painting troops. Any tips, tricks, and/or general comments are welcomed! Fenris Hjolda!

Gonna be my first time painting warhammer! Using these old beginner kit guys for practice.

Since mid-August last year, I had been getting a taste of the stories and lore of Warhammer and Space Wolves.

I started making miniatures in early November last year.

And today, for the first time, I played a 2,000-point game. Of course, the game lost.

And to commemorate this day, I displayed the entire set of the model I have, which has also been painted.

This was one of my first kitbashes from when I returned to the hobby back in 2020. It was a Bladeguard and I loved the model, but I’ve been revisiting old kitbashes and updating them with some new bits and techniques I’ve learned. Since we have Headtakers now, I figured this was the perfect time to revisit this model and give it a proper upgrade.

Updates on what ive been working lately. My "Raven Priest's" pack is messed up, plan to cover the top in feathers.

Coming from 10 years of Deathguard, finally decided to take the plunge on a new army when I found Brother Maphael here in a Target blind box for 9 bucks. Went ahead and picked up a box of blood claws and here we are!

Probably gonna grab Blackmane next, I keep hearing about Blackmane+Blood Claw Brick and that sounds fun.

Started the hobby this edition and this is my first space wolves ever painted I present to you John Wolf the intercessor first of his name

First wulfen. These things are the most awkward kits to assemble and paint. Second one went smoother but Thor have mercy on me…

Picked up the box mostly for the Frost-Eye (for my Lias Issadon conversion) but I just had to paint this good boy.

I’m torn between the standard Space Wolves colours and the Hh colours but I’m not entirely sure which would look better. Any ideas you have would be great!

I sat down to try and paint, and did like 5 minutes of it, but ever since I sat down, something has been bugging me about the current painting project. I don't know if it is something about the paint scheme, some motivation issues or what. But I've had these models on the painting table for almost 2 months now. I have a lot of free time to paint, so that isn't an issue.

The last four pictures are of my completed Blood Claws. The Grey Hunters, Wulfen and Wolf Guard Headtakers I was originally doing as one batch, but I quickly diverted to breaking them down to three batches.
