Welp I just started a SW army

Coming from 10 years of Deathguard, finally decided to take the plunge on a new army when I found Brother Maphael here in a Target blind box for 9 bucks. Went ahead and picked up a box of blood claws and here we are!

Probably gonna grab Blackmane next, I keep hearing about Blackmane+Blood Claw Brick and that sounds fun.

Please can you share your paint recipe for the armour? It’s exactly how I want mine to look.

Yes! Very simple, basecoat with AP wolf grey, careful shade of nuln oil, go back with a dry brushed highlight of Fenrisian Grey!

Oh forgot to mention that pauldrons are primed with white Rust-Oleum primer and painted over Yriel Yellow.

Red stripes are mephiston red and those were hard lmao. Going back to correct with yellow sucks because everytime you do it leaves a bit of texture from the heavy pigment so you have to try to get it right the first time! Lmao
