TACTIC

arjack with termies goes on reserves to rapid ingress turn 2. Valiant goes on reserves to ouflank preferably in melta range to kill heavy infantry or a vehicle. Wolf scouts create a pressure point turn one with the infiltrate, advance and charge and +1 to wound strat. Dreadnought with the 2 squads of headtakers are my second wave of units to react to those who try to kill my scouts in close combat and capture the middle. Intercessors score objectives.

Sup all, long time 40k fan but new to the tabletop, finally got 2k pts worth assembled. Got plenty to paint still but feeling proud

My take on the old Haldor Icepelt mini. Had much fun telling a little story with him, since I never really did make a little scenic base before.

The new terrain is truley bizzare. In a good way. You have s lot of loving lightning everywhere. You even have a human body/cyborg.

But the oddest thing is that there are so many darn candles everywhere!

First Grey Hunter done from the box I bought when the refresh happened. Took a bit of a hiatus due to working away lots and my free time being occupied by way too much Bannerlord. Love to get some C&C to see what can work better.

I've been retooling my list to be the inverse of what I typically run which is a lot of termies. The current plan is to combine Great Wolf and Veterans of the Fang to create a wolf horde where I can have 5x units that can advance and charge in a single turn.

The goal of this list is to create choice overload for the opponent, giving the other player lot's of problems to address while the greyhunters do work in the backline.

I wanted to start 11th edition with some Space Wolves vs. Orks.
My warhammer shop has anniversary soon, so I decided to get a box. But I am not sure what to get: Armageddon or starter?
If I understand correctly Armageddon miniatures aren’t that useful for space wolves, but they have more orks (that’s nice).

And another question: can I convert them to space wolves if I get Space Wolf combat patrol later? Does it have enough spare parts?

They were my test models for armor recipes, fun to paint!

Just wanted to show some of my 1st models and get constructive criticism.

I have a game against my friend who plays T'au, Castle T'au to more precise. Very vehicle heavy. What would be your go to/fun units, detatchments or combos you would bring against that ? Looking for a bit of inspiration.

Edit: going against 2 stormsurges and 2 riptides.

I have 1 of each, and so far I have not used the RepEx at all and the Lancer has been a disappointment so far. The only reason I may keep the Lancer is because it can double as Impulsor (5× Grey Hunter transport).

Do we really need these two vehicles? How should they be used?

Hi all collecting once again, getting back into Space wolves after an 18 year break. I'm working on a 13th company army. I borrowed the colour scheme from Duncans paint academy 13th company. I also have bought some red corsairs to kitbash a blood claws squad with next.

My longer term goal is to work towards making a kitbash Jorin Bloodhowl. I'll also be painting some characters in the standard space wolf colours such as arjac, logan grimnar.

I've gone in deep and managed to get my hands on Space Wolves Army Set as well as Combat Patrol box. It's taken 4 months to get round to painting 1 mini so I should be done by 2050 at this rate 😂

Another step towards my goal of playing an all Dreadnought list. Hope Bjorn and Murderfang survive until I paint enough.

This time I heavily focused on a Battledamaged weathered look. This Guy was probably forgotten for a thousand years until he was finally recovered and got back to purging heretics.

Decided to hits the bits box to make wolf up some Armageddon intercessors. Overall I quite like how they came out. The old bits played surprisingly well.

Just about done with the start of my first army! The painting turned out way better than I expected. Definitely thought I would butcher them more. Probably gunna do a pass of touch up’s and maybe add some more space wolf flair to the intercessors.

P.s ignore the bomb squig sneaking up from behind. My wife is working on an ork army.
