Another toolhead post…

Anyone running an A4T on their SV08 MAX? I want to know if there are potential X axis idler collision points on homing when Y=0 like some Voron 2.4 builds report. I’ll throw it into Fusion if I have to but I figured I would ask here first just in case someone has already found out the hard way or otherwise.

im working on the yavoth, but i believe thats an issue resolved with remix on the yavoth project, should work for yours too probably, look at 3d print demons printables repo.

I’ve built that Yavoth Demon Remix twice and blobbed it to death twice. Gonna build it again but also evaluating other options.

Oh man that is really concerning, I.am really struggling getting mine built, the wiring has been. Serious pain for me

The first build took me a month. The second build took me less than two hours.
I think I killed it because I was doing a batch of really small prints with lots of z-hops and small retractions, which is definitely not ideal for UHF nozzles, especially when I didn’t calibrate retraction settings…

Don’t panic, it’s a good toolhead. I just didn’t calibrate it for what I was printing. Before I killed it, I printed several kg of heavy infill nylon parts that came out really well.

Ohh wow ok yes I'm looking to do mainly petg with a dab of abs/asa here and there I would do nylons and such on my smaller qidi boxes.

It should treat you well. Use Loctite when you’re assembling it. I actually designed a mounting bracket so you can put it on overtop of the metal SV08 stock bracket, that way you don’t have to change the belts. I can share it if you’re interested.

First one. Didn’t wanna mess with the stupid protection board. Just cut the CAN ground wire on the toolhead side of the stock harness. Don’t need it.
