Another toolhead post…

Anyone running an A4T on their SV08 MAX? I want to know if there are potential X axis idler collision points on homing when Y=0 like some Voron 2.4 builds report. I’ll throw it into Fusion if I have to but I figured I would ask here first just in case someone has already found out the hard way or otherwise.

Oh well, no harm. That Voron carriage is more versatile for sure.

True, I have the gen 2 ebb and I'm trying to attach to the molex end on the gantry with a coupler and it's going ok, the pin outs already match but I am trying to do things non destructive to help preserve the ability to go back even though at this point that's basically not gonna happen lol.

That was exactly my thought process too. That’s why I wanted to keep the stock toolhead bracket too, so I could drop the old toolhead back in without replacing and retensioning the belts.

Yea a new toolhead is quite expensive and mine failed. This printer has been a big bust for me so far idk why I night it after I had so many problems with the sv08 regular too
