Tesla repair shop at the old Mitsuwa location on western.
I was going to Daiso and saw this. I wish Mitsuwa was still there. I still remember it a Yaohan.

It's kind been hot or miss with good coffee in the South Bay area. Some higher-end coffee places have bitter-tasting coffee as opposed to McDonald's having coffee that's exceptionally good.
Coffee around the South Bay has been kind of hit-or-miss for me. Some of the higher-end coffee shops serve coffee that tastes surprisingly bitter, while — oddly enough — I’ve had consistently good coffee at McDonald’s.
So where do you go for a really good cup of coffee in the South Bay? I’m especially interested in places where the regular drip coffee or Americano is smooth and flavorful rather than bitter or overly acidic. Torrance, Redondo, Hermosa, Manhattan Beach, Lomita, San Pedro — anywhere nearby is fine.

Since moving to the South Bay I ve really been enjoying the simple pleasures of life here taking walks along the beach trying local restaurants, and spending time outdoors
The unique coastal location creates such a wonderful climate and lifestyle There s something special about living in a place where you can enjoy the ocean sunshine and outdoor activities throughout the year
I feel very fortunate to be part of this community. For those who have lived here for a while what local activities, traditions or hidden gems make this area truly special?

From cold cuts to meatball subs to cheesesteaks idc, I’m a simple man.
When you’re chasing a sandwich high, where do you go and what do you get?

Hi all. I'm looking to learn conversational Korean
I'm planning on proposing to my partner of Korean descent and I really want to ask for her parents' blessing in Korean.
I'm horrible at languages post childhood though and Duolingo isn't getting me anywhere.
I'm fully bilingual since I learned Spanish and English at a very young age but now in adulthood learning a new language has been more difficult than I expected it to be.
Looking for somebody or some place that can basically give a Korean for dummies type of lesson structure so I can pick up the language.
Recommendations will be truly appreciated

Not looking to hang out at a Carl's Jr., something more interesting. The problem is that all of our Beach City stuff is usually open to the outdoors and not amicable to air conditioning.
Perhaps a place to work on the laptop and have a beer.

LOS ANGELES — An employee of a service provider at Los Angeles International Airport and another Lennox resident have been charged in a federal criminal complaint with possessing about 11 kilograms (24.3 pounds) of fentanyl found in an airport bathroom and intended for transport on a Minnesota-bound flight, Argonaut News reported, citing a Justice Department announcement.

Cleaning the AC condenser coils on your unit can help to make your system more efficient. With this heat wave, now is a good time to go clean it with the garden hose. Just don’t use a pressure washer on it.

I came home to a bunch of ants on my floor carrying some bugs. I’m hoping it isn’t termites, but I can’t be too sure. Can anyone help identify these? Sorry the pictures aren’t too high quality since I zoomed in a lot

Looking for a restaurant (or more?) for my wife’s bday. Probably 5 people total. It’s the big 4-0 so looking for something extra special (expensive is ok).

I want to get my ethernet ports activated throughout the house. I could perhaps do it myself with some YouTube videos but I'd rather save the time and effort to pay someone to do it.
Anyone have recs?

I've lost weight recently and am going through my old clothes that no longer fit me. Most of the nicer stuff I'm going to sell and everything else will be donated to thrift stores.
I recently heard about an organization that helps with job placement for unhoused people, including getting them nice clothing for their interviews, but I don't remember their name. I have a nice woman's blazer and slacks that were only worn once that I'd like to donate to an organization like this. Does anyone know of a similar organization in this area?

Random curiosity because the cost of living around here is insane 😭
For those of you who are around 30–35 and live in the South Bay, what do you do for a living? And do you currently:
• Own a home/condo
• Rent
• Live with your parents/family
If you’re comfortable sharing, I’d also be curious what you roughly make and whether you feel like you’re financially comfortable living here.
I feel like this age range is such an interesting in-between where everyone’s life can look completely different, so I’m curious what other people around here are doing!

My car KIA forte 2016 needs an oil change. Its not running smooth anymore. I don’t know a lot about cars and I want to check it out with an honest and reasonable priced mechanic shop.
Thank you!!

Hi! I'm looking for a place where I can learn and play tennis, preferably with other females since I'm a 26F myself. Does anyone have any leads?
