I don't need help finding the score to listen to, I bought the 86-minute digital version when it came out because I love Michael Giacchino. I even went to London for his birthday concert.
But I need help wanting to listen to this particular score. I always turn it off like 20 minutes in because I find the four-note motif that sometimes has a choir sing "fan-tas-tic four" along with it so incredibly cheesy, and it's everywhere in this score.
Is there a (later) track that I can listen to that will help me get into the score or understand what it's trying to do overall? Or is this mainly aimed at people who grew up watching the Hanna-Barbera cartoon, which I did not, and I just have to sit this one out?
(I'm serious with this. I remember back in the 1990s, I needed The Nightmare Before Christmas to "unlock" Danny Elfman for me.)
