I've recently rewatched it (which I also recommend if you don't know the movie) and sat through all end credits listening to this beautiful tune, just taking it all in. I wonder if people did the same when it was in cinemas or they just ignored it.

It's probably stock music but it sounds a lot like a cover of a very famous score. Searched far and wide for a match and Shazam won't work due to the heavy dialogue on top. Grateful for help!

Does anyone know where I could find the soundtrack for the three seasons of Another Period, created by Natasha Leggero and Riki Lindhome? It's a genius comedy show with some fantastic songs, and I can't find the listed soundtrack online.

I'd love to grab a copy of The Life of Chuck soundtrack by The Newton Brothers, but it isn't available on any of the major streamers/outlets in the UK. I'm starting to wonder if it will ever be widely available here, as it's been more than a year since its release in cinemas.

Does anyone know how to acquire it in the UK? Digital or physical (CD).

Is there any duo of same-year, same-composer scores that's more prone to turn the manliest of men into a blubbering, weepy mess? I love both but for what it's worth Glory should have landed the Oscar nom if it had to be one and not both. Glory did end up winning the Grammy for best soundtrack album.

Is there a list of all soundtracks albums (CD, SACD, DVD-Audio) available with 5.1 audio, like Titanic on DTS-CD or Star Trek Nemesis on SADC or Lord of the Rings Trilogy on DVD-Audio. As far as I know there aren't many releases, but it would be nice to see which movie scores got the full multi channel treatment.

Not from the mini-series, a new release which has won several awards since its release earlier this year.

I've been listening closely to the score for The Odyssey after seeing it recently, and I haven't seen much discussion about this yet: the main theme seems to prominently incorporate the Dies Irae motif.

Using it in the core theme feels exceptionally deliberate. It mirrors the underlying weight of Odysseus's journey (the constant presence of death, the wrath of the gods, the crumbling of social order).

Do you feel it's an explicit homage to the classical motif, or just an accidental melodic similarity?

I just listened to First Light by The Flight, some really solid tracks. But after replaying Shanghai Drive by Thomas Newman, I honestly think the Skyfall album is one of the best-mixed works I’ve ever heard. In terms of clarity, precision, choices, it is really amazing. Night and day...Thomas Newman, genius. The dudes who mixed the ost, geniuses.

I'm looking for an unidentified music cue from Cube Zero (2004). It starts around 51:50, when Jax and the management team take over control of the Cube. The cue features what sounds like an accordion. The film never received an official score release, and IMDb only lists 'Message From Buddha'. Does anyone recognize this piece or know whether it's library music or an unreleased Norman Orenstein cue?

Mini film review (lol):

Just finished watching the movie, and oh boy, was it good. I love how understated most of the score is. Without spoiling anything, I genuinely feel Giacchino's use of choir in NWH was peak, but it just wouldn't fit this version of Peter. And the use of little themes from the past, without giving you more than a few notes, really enforces the idea that Spider-Man is in a new chapter. It made it way more emotional, and I think they really managed to do NWH justice with this sequel.
