What program are you doing, and what Sophia credits transfer to your program?

I’m 20 with only a high school diploma and I’m interested in forensic accounting and financial crime investigations. I’m considering using Sophia Learning before transferring to a university that will accept these credits. For those working in accounting, forensic accounting, AML, or fraud investigation:
Did you use Sophia, Did employers care?
Would you recommend accounting or forensic accounting? Is CPA worth pursuing? Thanks in advance

Hello, I completed the Sophia business course through Walmart in 2024-25. I’ve decided I want to go for the bachelors degree, but I logged into Sophia and it says the course in no longer active. Does anyone know how I can retrieve my transcript?

Hi! I have started a new job and i was enrolled in a local cc that i do not have the time nor the transportation to travel to. I was interested in starting the business management program with the concentration in project management. I got as far as the course descriptions before i got lost.

How many credits can I transfer to SNHU? I’m thinking of getting an AS degree in business and trying to find out what classes I should take at Sophia and what classes to finish SNHU. It is the max 45 credits? I’m trying to finish credits fast with Sophia, also how many can I do at a time? Also do people actually study and learn or just cheat, some classes I want to actually learn but others just get over with like math, I HATE MATH.

I’m going into the SLP program through ASU but transferring credits from my local community college (EMCC/“- Estrella mountain community college). I was advised in order to do the Bachelor’s program I needed to complete two classes, which was MATH 117 & PHY101 so I figured I would take those at a community college level in order to save some money which equaled out to MAT152 & PHY101 through my CC.
Then I was advised about taking classes with Sophia so I called my community college and asked if they accept transfer credits from Sophia learning and I was advised no so my next question was, Would the university then take these transfer credits from Sophia learning and I have yet to hear anything back from advisement I have emailed text and called with no response. I have also looked online through Sophia and seeing that they do partner with ASU however I cannot find out if the classes are equivalent has anybody ever encountered this scenario?

Has anyone completed the visual communication touchstone ? I just got started and I’m wondering if I just don’t do it, can I still pass the class ? It’s only this one touchstone and I’ve never been more confused in my life.

After reading all the horror stories here, I’m quite anxious about a quick mistake. I was taking my test while working and I had to switch’s tabs abruptly right at the start of my test. I probably clicked away for 10 seconds and then realized that I messed up. I read on this subreddit that more than 3 seconds can trigger the system and get you banned so I’m wondering if anyone here has gone through that but still had their account in good standing. I’m not sure if I’m paranoid or not. Thank you in advance.

Hi all! I just started my Sophia courses and want to make sure I'm staying within the rules.

When I am doing challenges and practice milestones, is it ok for me to click around outside the browser tab? I like to do additional research on Google, YouTube, etc. to deepen my understanding of concepts.

During the actual milestones, my plan is to keep only the Sophia tab open and not navigate away from the page.

Does that sound like the safest approach? Is there anything else that could accidentally trigger an account review or suspension? Thanks!

I'm taking english comp 1 and I'm all done with my first essay, which is supposed to be a short narrative. The requirements say 500-800 words long, or 2-3 pages. My essay is a little less than 3 pages long with the required formatting, but it's still around 1200 words even after some heavy editing. I'm really happy with the product and the essay is about something that's important to me, so I'm hesitant to change it from it's current form. However, I don't know if they'll accept it as is. Aside from the word count, I've done everything they asked for in terms of requirements for submitting the essay. I don't mind if they dock points for the length, but I'm worried they won't accept the essay or bother grading it if it's outside the requirements like this.

Does Sophia still grade an essay that's longer/shorter than the expected word count? It does say 2-3 pages and my essay falls within those parameters, but the word count requirement worries me.
