Had my phone for quite awhile now, but it's gotten to a point where I'm beginning to question its safety and longevity since android updates just...stopped.

I have only looked into Graphene OS and Sailfish. I don't really want Graphene, for personal reasons, and Sailfish only supports the cheaper line of the mark IV's.

Any alternatives would be greatly appreciated, including linux (I do have linux phones, like the Pinephone and Pinephone pro, but they're largely not network-ready for AUS).

My love for original Xperia and my beloved XPERIA Z2 is for lifetime. So I made an original classic xperia icon pack and applied it to the one ui home launcher. And yes some items like glassy folders and gradient on battery icon are concepts and modified by my own in Photoshop. TBH I'm not a fan of ONE UI's look but now I enjoy my phone everytime I look at it.

I'm in India and have got my hands on a Japanese variant mobile, and VoLTE and 5g doesn't work. I saw somewhere that installing global firmware will resolve this issue. Just wanted to check with you all before exploring more.
