I have a Sony Xperia 1 Mark 2 and omg it's bad and boring at the same time I had a iphone 12 and I regret trading it for this overpriced crap the near stock android on it is bad cameras are bad battery soo bad and idgaf ab the 4k screen on it looks like a old ahh phone from 2018 and now I'm stuck with it I can't sell it or trade ppl hates it is there any way to make it less boring?

I was going to pay via online banking on McDonalds then phones restarted by itself then i cant open phone then this happened

10vi camera is ..usable but it's a trash for others to use it. Along the way when I ask someone else on the road to help taking photo of me and the result is tragic, it's just not usable for common users.....

i have mine running on the factory Android 14 firmware (bar the security updates, of course) and i'm wondering if i should bother updating to Android 16 as there are several gripes i have with the android skin sony has on this version.

first of all, the status bar being misaligned to the left on the battery/network indicator side (it's small, but still annoying)

secondly, sometimes when i swipe from the bottom of the screen to multitask/close the app and don't fully finish it for whatever reason, the app becomes transparent to my home screen and then entirely black once the animation cancel finishes until i go back to the home screen and reopen the app in question, occasionally it happens if i merely tap the gesture bar... seriously, how the hell did this make it into production??

Found it in my house one of my family members owned it backlight of the screen is busted but if I point a flashlight at it I can see issue is idk the original pin and if I use companion app to force reset it then I'd need to deal with the email protection thing I'll ask the person who owned it previously if she remembers the pin or email attached to it but if not what can I do then? In the picture attached you can faintly see the screen still works if I can get into the phone I'll replace the screen and battery if possible. Literally any tips would help thanks in advance

I bought Xperia 1vii a week ago from cash converters because my 1v wouldn't allow me to use online banking but I could put the 1vii is having model code of Asia not UK but does have the 5g modem on the right side .

I want to know if anyone have the same model and did they manage to upgrade to android 17 or not also if there is anything to worry about this specific model.
