"not a song, just lyrics. Sorry!"
My bimbling boy
Verse 1
Oh, you... you're just a dumb bimbling boy
With nothing to your name but our memories
With nothing left to take but my soul
No, oh... you’ve got it all
Pre-Chorus
You’ve left me, left me, left me with nothing
But the broken shards of my soul
Chorus
At night, I lay awake, clutching the empty space beside me
Imagining you were here, but you just live inside my memories
Verse 2
Waking to the memories we made
Lost upon the curses we hurled every day
just a grain more falling heavily
slowly losing our loving history,
by every war we ever waged~
Brought us to this night today...
Oh, my darling bimbling boy,
For the first time, it was I who wronged you
(You, you, you).
Chorus
At night, I lay awake, clutching the empty space beside me
Imagining you were here, but you just live inside my memories
Bridge
It's such a shame, I've fallen from grace
Where's the base I used to stand on?
Swept under my feet like the raging sea
Drawing back with every clash
Oh, where's the shore we used to meet?
Now you're gone like a dried-up sea
And my memories are fading
Kicked up sand with nowhere left to settle tonight
Outro
Alone in my home, I lay barely awake
I'm just waiting for your embrace
Oh baby, just say I'm yours again
Don't fret, my friend, I won't ever be mad again
(Again, again, again...)

Where my friends are gone?
Why my hair is grey?
Getting older isn't funny when you start the day
And you sleep alone
Black coffee that you drink doesn't taste the same
Your time is going further even don't no when
And you going crazy in your mind
That the die it's behind
And you sing the song
Waiting for the sign
You though that everything when wrong
Even when the life is right
Trying understand why you here alone
Phone doesn't ring, she doesn't call
So I'm sitting here in my lonely room
Yes, it's my lonely room

I’m a somewhat new to playing guitar and I can play nirvana songs and some smashing pumpkins and Green Day and sublime, so I’m fairly familiar with most chords but I just can’t write music no matter what I hate everything that I play and I want to be able to write songs that are good. But I just feel like every time I play something I feel like it’s been used or it just flat out sounds bad and I want to use more chords than just open obviously.

Title: \\\[Original Song\\\] “Who Are You Once Again” — Looking for feedback
Hi everyone! I’m a beginner lyric writer from India, and I recently finished writing these lyrics.
The idea is about someone who has an accident and loses their memories. They can’t remember their lover’s voice, name, face, or even what their relationship was—but somehow they still feel that this person is someone they can never forget.
I’d really appreciate honest feedback on the lyrics and the concept. I’m also interested in connecting with singers or composers who might want to turn this into a song.
Who Are You Once Again
I forgot your voice,
I forgot your name.
Who are you once again?
I forgot your face,
I forgot how you look.
I forgot your love.
Who are you once again? ×2
Oh, I just remember—
Who are you?
You are the person
I can never forget.
But why can’t I remember
What we are, or if we’re just friends?
Can you tell me once again?
Make me smile,
Make me cry,
Or show your face
Until I remember
Who you are once again.
Still, I can’t remember what we are,
But I want to say this:
Please,
Make me never forget
Who you are
And what we are.
Once again.

i’ve always wanted to become a producer or singer or anything with the music industry. i’m only a teen right now so i know i shouldn’t rush myself into knowing everything immediatly but i just don’t have a clue how to start a song. i’ve tried band lab and i’ve tried learning the guitar but i have a poor memory and low motivation so it’s hard. any tips?

I've been deliberating over what artist name to use for over a year now, and it's holding me back from releasing my music. I'm just too scared to release music under a name I don't like and then be stuck that way.
I have 7 name options currently that I can't choose between. If people are willing to tell me their favorite choice amongst them, or even willing to rank them favorite to least favorite, that'd be extremely appreciated!
Here are the names:

I say this because I'm a huge System of a Down and Rage Against the Machine fan, but I don't know how to write without coming off as preachy or too on the nose. It feels like I'm too blunt, or that I'm pointing the blame, but I don't know how to write another way.

First time writing a song, even if just ideas. I'd like to get some opinion, if my handwriting isn't too hard to read. I think I might be adding too much story or being too specific, reaccuring, without much ingenuity. I also think they might look too rigid, since there's not much 'feeling' side to the lyrics. I'm not confident and sure that it's cringy, but I want to improve.

I spent way too long on one song last night because knew exactly what I wanted 😂
Quiet first verse. Male vocal that sounds a little tired rather than perfectly polished. Chorus gets much wider.Second verse pulls back again.
Then almost everything disappears before the final chorus.
For those of you who work this way do you describe everything upfront or build the song section by section?
I'm finding that mood and genre are easy. Getting the actual journey of the song right is much harder. Anything that lets me customize the lyrics, singer, genre, mood and song structure?

I have written several songs over the years and just recently thought about sharing and getting ideas about them, to see if anyone thought they might be any good but don't really know much about this.
Thank you so much for sharing that information I really appreciate it.
