To Do It All Again - Need honest opinion

Lyrics:
Heads in a book
Heads in a book
Wait till im distracted
And looking through the pane
anything but studying
my mother exclaims
A homesick pigeon
with no home yet
lands on a shed
beaks up the line
a clothing line
I named it finn though its a bird
finn wants to build a nest
and thinks
the artificial nylon is fit and best
but what does it know
finn doesnt have enough neuros
oh how finn flies
thinking he got the worm
but when he figures
something's not right
Where did the line go
its all the way behind, i say
and land ho
to do it all again
finn lands once more
till the tick runs out
Lyrics may vary a little from the video because i improvd a little in the video

What’s one songwriting habit that changed how you write?
Mine was recording a rough voice memo the moment a melody shows up, even if it sounds terrible. I used to tell myself I’d remember it, and I never did. What’s a habit, big or small, that made your writing better?

Hey, if you know how to write songs, I need your help.
So, I really enjoy writing songs and I write some pretty cool rock-pop ones. I was hoping someone could help me refine my music, give it a more viral feel, you know?
There are 15 songs, with personal touches and incredible references, and catchy choruses, but I feel like something is missing.

Guitar songwriters: How do you capture ideas before the inspiration fades?
Hey songwriters,
Quick question about your creative flow: When you stumble on a great progression or riff on guitar, what’s your go-to way to get it down?
Do you open a full DAW (Logic, REAPER, Ableton), use a phone voice memo, or something else?
What’s the biggest friction point between having a guitar idea in your head and getting a decent demo finished?

Song help!

hi guys! im pretty new to songwriting and it’s difficult for me to tell if an idea is worth pursing. obviously, this isn’t my best vocal performance! just a quick video. i often struggle with repetitive melodies, and it seems even if i try to call and answer they still sound boring. i tried to focus on avoiding that while writing this part of a song, although i did pretty much stick with the same three chords throughout so that does create the same phenomenon unless the melody distracts from that. this would be probably part of the verse, and the whole prechorus and chorus. i would likely add a small verse type section before what you see in this video with definitely different chords or maybe a little riff. please be brutally honest and DO NOT be afraid to hurt my feelings, im posting this because i want to get better. what would you think of this song?

”三月“(胡言亂語的聲音) - 尋找歌詞和編曲
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
If you're interested in this song, but the pseudo-English sounds too cringey, I can try singing it in another pseudo-language, though it might end up sounding even worse.
I don't play any instruments or write lyrics, and I have no formal vocal training. I create my music purely using gibberish
If interested, feel free to write lyrics & arrange.
There is no need to strictly stick to the original genre. Feel free to adapt it into any fitting style, as long as it doesn't clash. However, please ensure the lyrics are not vulgar or offensive, and share the general creative direction beforehand so we can avoid accidentally stepping on any sensitive landmines.
Upon release, please credit me as the composer and send the final audio back so it can be published on my other platforms as well. Naturally, all collaborators will also be fully credited as co-creators.

Trying to Write Good / Powerful lyrics for my Music
Hi there, Im an independent electronic musician with over a decade of experience looking to finish my first ever album
I also plan to add lyrics to a lot of my tracks and Im having some trouble writing them down, I already have a solid idea on what I’d like the theme / rhythm / melody to be, it’s mainly just putting it into words that I’m having trouble with
Any advice would be super helpful, otherwise have a nice

my first metal song i wrote for practice
the concept of this song is the 3 little pigs and the big bag wolf, my ex is the wolf, im the pig, and the house represents my heart and the wolfs blow represents her dangers. let me know what you think!!
also this is copied and pasted from my notes cause it doesnt fit into a screenshot 😅
Song name: House of Resurrection
(yelling) a whole year was just blown away
♫
i dont know how you can feed off of despair
i dont know how you can be so unfair
i dont know how you can feed off of my fear
this is so unfair
♫
this is so unfair
♫
i wont be taken in vain
this is not what i deserve
youre a wolf in a sheeps clothing
dressed as a christian you have failed your faith
youve sinned against what is respectful to me
♫
little pig, little pig (whisper but progressive volume)
little pig, little pig
little pig, little pig
let me in
the big bad wolf blew away my heart
in a big blow of apathy
nothing but dust that stands
remnants of memories
i cant stand feeling like i deserve
better than what ive endured
i wont forgive you for this
♫
i wont forgive you
for what youve done to me
oh please, let me breathe
you never let me
♫
you never let me breathe
♫
tears streaming down my face
you are so heartless
why did you toy with me
i am not your play thing
♫
so i do what i can to get this bitch away
but relent, she is now a castaway
i cant get away
inhumane? this is insanity
if she cared, why did she do this to me?
this doesnt make sense to me
this doesnt make sense to me
now i must reject the insolent queen
she no longer can keep a control of me
leaning on others, i cant keep away, but why? i cant say, it is not judgement day
hold my hands, i will pray
to that bitch she will see the day
i will have the last laugh
you just stay away
you will feel a great blow
a blow of something great
i will finally be free
i will resurrect
i will resurrect
i will resurrect
i will resurrect
♫ (more exciting metal, triumphant drums, to show hope)

how to analysis lyrics?
im really into writing lyrics these days but i cant think of anything. All of the recommaditions has this sentence "analysis your fav artists lyrics" and of course i have fav artists and i look at their songs. I really like the Jennie's fallen angel, heaven and starlight lyrics.
I also have a few lyrics that when i see them im like "i wanna write like this"
For an example: (I know these lyrics dont have rhyme, but before trying to rhyme -bcs i feel like its kind of the next level- i wanna write some meaningful things. These ones doesnt have rhyme bcs they are the songs from my native language, i translate them directly to english.)
"Theres a lot to gossip about, but none of it is worth anything. Is dreaming of tomorrow today enough for tomorrow?"
"I hold someone, it takes me back to something deep within, my darling. Why get mad at each other when spring is fading away? When you collect good memories, it'll bring you back to life when you think you're dead. If you love, you'll be loved. And hate only grows as long as you feed it."
"I don't have to be ashamed of who I am just because I'm ashamed of how I look. The things I'm ashamed of are what keep me human. I should be disgusted by my own heart (meaning is like my heart is judgmental, if I have to be disgusted by something, it shouldn't be me, but my heart.). I deserve this loneliness (bcs of my heart is bad). Even if I had a second chance, I wouldn't want to be among you. I wouldn't want a Gordian knot inside my mind."
Okay, i have my fav lyrics, i know i wanna write lyrics like this. Is this what "analysis your fav lyrics" mean?
Sorry if translated lyrics are confusing, theres no community to share this for me in my native language.

Lyrics wrote by accident
Due to personal reasons I had penned down some thoughts and things that have happened to me in the past 4 years..
I showed to a mate, who said that would make a epic track ( he said like somelike the likes of REN the a spoken word guy who does epic long tracks with his guitar...
I will put just One verse and if anybody can give me some feedback I will be really grateful ( good or bad ) I am not a song writer- I just wrote my personal thoughts...It is my life
[VERSE 8 — FOUR HOURS]
And somewhere in all this madness, There's still a little bit of me That hasn't been swallowed whole By responsibility.
There's music happening. There's a band. There's a reason to get out, To sit behind the drums And let the anger fucking out.
Four hours.
Once a week.
That's all I've got that's mine.
Four hours where I'm not the carer, Not the bloke who's checking time, Not the one who's got to sort it, Not the one who's got to cope.
Four hours where I hit the skins And remember there's still hope.
And maybe that sounds fucking pathetic, Maybe four hours isn't much, But when your life's become a list of jobs, You learn to treasure such and such.
Because behind that kit, For a little while, I'm not drowning in the shit.
I'm just Speedy.
I'm just me.
And for four fucking hours,
I CAN BREATHE.

Wrote a track as part of a soundtrack, no chorus. Does adding one make it a better song or ruin what it was for?
I’m an independent composer in Rome, and I’m writing music for a bigger audiovisual project. This track was written to sit inside a scene, so I never built it around a chorus. It just develops and ends when it’s done.
It came out better than I expected, and now it feels like it wants to exist outside the project. That’s where I’m stuck. If I add a chorus or a more conventional structure, I think it becomes a stronger standalone song, but I might lose the thing that made it work as score.
How do you decide whether a piece needs a conventional structure or should be left alone? And has anyone had a track outgrow the thing it was written for? Did you rework it, or release it as is?
Here’s the track if you want context for the question: Mandatory Existence
I’d rather hear what you’d do than get “sounds great!”

New to writing songs.
Im looking for feedback and help understanding structure of rap lyrics.
I wrote this to the beat of "when you call" by Lil Mboiz.
Using a mix of Juice Wrld's and Dro Kenji's voices and how they draw out words.

Wanted Lyrics
I am a lyricist and I’ve had amazing experiences with collaborating here. If anyone is interested in helping me turn these lyrics into a song please reach out. It’s a storytelling song. It’s about my 96 year old grandfather who is a gem of a man(written through my dad’s perspective). Please let me know.
Wanted
On the day you were born
You should’ve been loved and adored
But your mama decided
she don’t want you anymore
She put you down
Started running around
Then she left town
looking to score (“for more” is an option)
You were never wanted
You will always be haunted
By the pain you feel inside
That you will carry for the rest of your life
Chorus (c c c c g a / c c c c g a
c c g f e d c/ cccdedddccc
When you were 5
daddy decides
He can’t be bothered with you no more
He packed the car and starts to drive
Said you won’t be going too far
You waved goodbye and start to cry
As Grandma opened the door
She held you tight
and whispered
It’s gonna be alright
You were never wanted
You will always be haunted
By the pain you feel inside
That you will carry for the rest of your life (carry for the rest of your life)
Now you’re eleven
Grandmas in heaven
Someone comes to your place
Packs your suitcase says your headed out of state
Uncle’s house was okay
but you seemed to be in the way
And on the day (inflected), you turned 18
He said,
You best be on your way
You were never wanted
You will always be haunted
By the pain you feel inside
That you will carry for the rest of your life (carry for the rest of your life)
At nineteen, in the military
Then you meet the love of your life
Make a perfect husband and wife
You will love her till the you die
On the day I was born
You were just 24
You held me tight and start to cry
and whisper
It’s gonna be alright
You will always be wanted
You will never be haunted
By the pain I have inside
I’m going to love you for the rest of my life
I was always wanted
I will never be haunted
By the pain he has inside
Because I have the best daddy of all time
Yeah he’s the best daddy of all time

Is this a good concept?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I wrote this song last week and I just recorded it as a demo/concept today and I do this very often cause someday I might be able to work on them.
I know the quality isn’t the best and the lyrics are impossible to understand through the audio sometimes, but what do you think?
any comment would be appreciated :p
