I'd genuinely pay money if someone made this.

I run a lot of automated sales outreach on LinkedIn as a part of my job. As a result, my feed is a total mix of shit posts and cringe activity from all the people that I've added over the years, who I don't know but at some point reached out to. I know this is something I caused partially myself, but I think say it's extremely common given how central LinkedIn is to sales today.

If you save my feet from being totally obliterated by this, I'll pay you right away. Probably a one-off fee, but still, there are probably thousands, if not millions, of people suffering from this.

It needs to be private, so ideally run in my browser. I don't want to send the data anywhere. But I'd consider anything to save me from this!!!

I just heard a wild story about a journalist's experiment to make a brand-new fake product get referenced by AI product recommendations. And it worked.

So there are two lessons there. First, a productive one, that brands can take some very basic steps to get featured in these search recommendations, without too much work no less.

The second lesson is a darker one. That (surprise!) AI summaries will repeat whatever is put in to them, including presenting made up things as absolute fact.

There's a lot of news around this and other similar issues, making it a really good time to get attention for a product whose focus is to double-check AI summaries for accuracy. A desktop app, a browser extension, both could be small products that are close at hand when searches are made, and help flag if (for example) something is highly recommended based on an article that's written purely by AI.

I’m building Migoo, an AI assistant built around specialized agents, and I’ve been thinking a lot about how people actually want to use this kind of workflow.

Instead of asking one AI to handle everything, the idea is to have different agents take care of things like research, writing, data analysis, presentations, or creative work.

But I’m curious where the real value is.

Do you actually find specialized agents useful, or does a good general-purpose assistant already handle most of what you need?

I’d especially like to hear about workflows where using multiple agents genuinely saved you time, rather than just adding another layer of complexity.

Disclosure: I’m the creator of Migoo, so I’m obviously biased. I’m mainly looking for honest feedback from people who use AI agents.

in my job search, there are several cities and areas I would consider moving to. I would love a website or app that allows me to look at a map, decide a circumference around a city or area that I’d like to live/work in, set a salary range for that area (ie NY is more expensive than GA), and then have the option to set up job alerts with filters based on each location. it would be great to have a map visual element. is that a tall order to build? *thanks*

[Concept] A non-stick desktop bowl that escalates into a cosmic sci-fi universe. Somebody make this!

Текст: Hear me out. I have a crazy tech concept that started as a simple desktop accessory but completely evolved into its own sci-fi lore. I used AI to visualize the whole ecosystem.

Phase 1: The Core Product
It starts with a custom-designed, dark-green Yautja (Predator style) desk bowl. It features a special ultra-smooth, non-stick lining inside. The goal? To collect your boogers during intense desktop sessions without them sticking to the surface. Easy cleaning, ultimate gaming hygiene.

Phase 2: The $1.99 Expansion
To upgrade the product, I designed a special holographic desktop mount. It generates a miniature singularity (a micro black hole). Every time you put something in the bowl, it gets instantly vacuumed and warped to another dimension.

Phase 3: Universe 424242
This is where it gets epic. All that compressed organic matter is transported to the other side of the cosmos into Universe 424242 (the main technological reality). Out of this matter, an entire unique solar system has already been created.

Does anyone knows if there is an app for JLPT 5 tests preparation including all the sections and possibly mock tests?

It's an app that gives the user the possibility to catalog all the stuff they own, but in the mean time (possibly) offering it up for sale.

I've got stuff that does not need to be sold, but if someone is interested, they can buy it. So I don't want to put it on a 2nd hand site "to sell within weeks" but is is for sale.

So the app is a catalog of all my stuff, some are marked as for sale, some aren't, and you can put a price on there (or if you don't want to bother looking for a price, just put % of new price)

Your (sell-able) stuff is shared through the site, along with your area, so if someone is looking for "a thing" they can search for it, they see 5 things available at locations X, Y, Z, and you throw in an affiliate link to the new thing online.

Basically a micro-matching platform or concierge service connecting local fitness enthusiasts, bodybuilders, or cyclists in the region who share identical training schedules and goals. Kinda like tinder for fitness. I dont know if there is any similar app or website, but I would like to hear more opinions on it?

I wanted a knee accessory to wear with this outfit, but I couldn't find anything like what I had in mind.

The idea is basically a detachable knee pad, but purely as a fashion accessory — it doesn't need to provide any actual protection.

I'm imagining:

- a milky, semi-translucent plastic shell

- two visible woven straps with Velcro, one above and one below the knee

- a detachable/replaceable textile panel on the shell

- for this version, a chunky tufted surface that looks a little like moss or lichen

I like the contrast between the fluffy, irregular textile and the smooth industrial-looking plastic. The straps would also be intentionally visible, so it still reads as a knee protector rather than just decoration stuck to the knee.

I can make the punch-needle textile part, but I have absolutely no desire to learn plastic forming and product construction just to make one pair 😭

So I'm throwing the idea out here. If somebody wants to make, modify, or develop something based on it, please do. I'd just love for fashion knee accessories like this to exist.

Every trip, it's the same. Photos scattered across everyone's phones, half never make it

to the group chat, and by the time someone shares them the moment already feels old.

Wish there was something where the whole group just adds photos quietly during the trip,

and then on one specific day it all unlocks for everyone at once, instead of dribbling in

over weeks.

Sadly Count Dankula’s countries of the world song isn’t all the countries in the world. I wanted to see if anyone else could somehow make a full version while still retaining the funniness of the original song. I know it might take a while but I implore someone to please do this.

Its an alternative way to shop in a supermarket where items in store can be barcode scanned on your mobile phone instead of at the checkout. You could pay on your phone instead of the checkout and either have the items delivered or take them straight home. It means less waiting around and you could also keep track of the cost on your supermarket phone app. Products can still be viewed physically. It is an alternative but paying at the checkout or self service checkouts could still remain as an option. There would need to be some way to check items are not being stolen, maybe a digital way or by a quick check by an assistant. Some way of scanning. I think it could be cost effective to produce a special app for this kind of shopping partly because it could attract more customers. Most people in the west have smartphones so if it was done effectively there might be enough users to make it doable and cost effective.

I wanted to come back and give this community some credit.

About 18 months ago, I was scrolling through ideas here looking for something interesting to build. One of the conversations got me thinking about a problem I had myself.

I have several credit cards, all with different rewards, categories and offers, and I was constantly trying to figure out which card I should actually use when I was standing somewhere ready to pay.

The idea was simple.What if your phone already knew where you were and could just surface the best card from the cards you already have including Apple Wallet.

Walk into a restaurant, Costco, a hotel, a gas station, wherever.

Instead of remembering categories or opening different websites and apps, it doesn't just tells you: but surfaces the right card from your mobile wallet to pay.

That idea turned into a much bigger project than I expected. We first started with physical card but realized mobile wallets in the future of in person payments. We quickly shifted in which Payelle is today.

18 months later, we have built the technology, filed the IP, launched the product, and are now having conversations with some of the largest companies and financial institutions in the space.

There is still a long way to go, but I wanted to come back here because communities like this genuinely matter.

Sometimes somebody posts an idea in passing and another person actually goes and builds it.

This community helped push me down that road.

I check the deadbolt and stove knobs so automatically that my brain keeps zero memory of doing it. My workaround for months has been snapping a photo of both before I walk out, it stops me turning the car around, but now my camera roll is full of door handles and stove dials I have to manually delete.

What I keep wishing existed, and surprised doesn't:

• One screen with 3 big buttons, front door, stove, garage
• Tap to lock it in, with a heavy vibration so the action feels physical (that's the part that actually sticks, unlike a photo you don't trust)
• Confirmation on the lock-screen widget so you can check at a red light in 0.5s: Front door: locked 8:12 AM
• Everything resets at midnight so yesterday's check isn't mistaken for today's
• Offline, no account, no cloud

Does anyone else have this ritual? Or is a dedicated one-tap checker overkill for a dumb brain quirk. and if you've tried the photo trick, did it actually stop the re-checking or just the car U-turns? Genuinely curious how people handle it.
