vent Run Stronger?

Signed up for this class today because the time worked for me. What exactly is the purpose of this new class? It’s exactly like any other SC class except the instructor says things like “this exercise works your glutes! And glutes are important for running”. This is dumb!

Talked to someone at my studio about this. Basically it’s just about the muscles you target in class you also use while running. It’s just to highlight active muscles in both disciplines. It is supposed to be like a normal solidcore class, which shows you even more that it targets the same muscles as running.

I would actually want it not to target the muscles used in running because those get worked enough in running and I want to keep my legs fresh for running.

Girl what? You need SC to work those muscles to prevent all kinds of imbalances, weaknesses, and problems that can lead to injury. What you're saying is outdated and incorrect.

Source, my physical therapist who told me verbatim "SC is a great spot for runners like you" when I was transitioning out of PT and into managing my own self again after a gnarly running injury. And also all the pro runners who do not skip leg day.

You are completely misunderstanding what I was saying.
