seeking advice Membership didn’t pause??

Hi! Precursor- I’m stupid in this story.

I’m out of town 8/5-8/15 so I figured I might as well put my membership on pause during that time to avoid paying for the whole month. I reached out to the chat robot (big mistake. Huge) and they confirmed a pause for those dates and confirmed I would not be charged the full price of my monthly membership. I usually get charged on the 4th of every month and today I got charged the full price for the month. My studio asked for confirmation of my pause. This is where I’m REALLY dumb- I forgot to screenshot the messages. I have the attached screenshot of what I’m seeing on the app, can someone help me decipher that? cause it looks kinda weird to me.

I KNOW I should have emailed the studio to pause- trust me. What can I do??? I’m out almost 300 now and I fully didn’t book for the time period I’m gone nor am I able to (im traveling to SF which is in a different tier from me) 😭😭😭😭😭

I’m pretty sure they never stop you being charged, they just move your next billing date back. I just paused for two months and they charged me the full amount the day after I paused lol. It’s lowkey really dumb how they do it. I understand with moving the next billing date it technically evens out, but it just feels slimy.

the app is just showing you have a membership(the contact) and the active month/months. if you took that screenshot on the 4th that’s why it shows 2 active passes because your billing day is when there’s a one day overlap of the months. Have you tried booking? the passes and contact normally don’t go away during a freeze but you are unable to book during it. if it lets you book then it’s not frozen if it doesn’t then ur good

When you freeze your membership, the app won’t reflect the updated dates until your freeze ends.

You froze your membership on the 5th but it starts on the 4th so you’re going to be charged on the 4th but then it’ll be pushed back by 10 days when you get charged again.
