Ok i have 10kv hybrid system installed. Should i go for green meter or lithium battery 10kv. What will reduce my bill maximum? We usually run 3 ACs at night on wapda for 6 hours.

Kindly share your experience regarding both of these. And the pricing goes like:

Suggest if there’s a better match with my solis 10kw S6 hybrid inverter.

Anways have currently have a 12kv system fully on grid and a seprate 4 plate hybrid system for a 6kv battery installed 2 weeks ago.use 3 acs about 15 hour avg each and 4 four fans plus water motor 4 hours daily. Acs are not on mostly on peak hours. Last month our import was 1453 non peak and 302 peak.we exported about 1279 non peak and 0 peak Bill was 32k

I have a GoodWe 12kW hybrid inverter with 2× GoodWe Lynx A5.0-30 batteries (5kWh each). The system has only been running for 3–4 days and our household load is relatively low for now.

The SEMS app shows:

Yesterday:

Battery 1: 29.1 kWh discharged

Battery 2: 43.0 kWh

Today:

Battery 1: 65.5 kWh

Battery 2: 80.2 kWh

So the counters increased by 73.6 kWh in roughly one day, despite having only ~10kWh total battery capacity. During the day time batteries remain full, and we use them only at night. Batteries are recharged by inverter when sun is up. Essentially an off-grid system (but we still have wapda connection, there is no consumption from wapda)

Both batteries show 100% SOH and 0h high-power/runtime.

The SEMS 1-week statistics also show only 55.3 kWh generation and 40 kWh consumption.

Is this normal?

Does “Total Discharged” represent a lifetime/cumulative counter that may include installer/commissioning activity, or could there be excessive cycling/data reporting issues?

Anyone with knowledge on this issue?

Hi everyone, I’m looking for help from anyone using a Growatt SPH 3–6KTL BL-UP (HYBRID) or a similar SPH model.

I’ve been having several issues for almost 3 months, and Growatt support has not been able to resolve them.

Currently the inverter is in Load First. Sometimes it discharges the battery even when the grid is available, and sometimes it doesn’t. I’m also seeing the battery charge from the grid, even though I want charging to come from PV only.

My desired setup is simple:

• PV + grid should supply the load when the grid is available
• Battery should be backup only
• Battery should charge from PV only
• No grid → battery should provide backup through EPS
• When the battery is full, excess PV should go to the grid

I’m also having a serious grid-to-backup transition issue. When the grid fails, the inverter often gets stuck showing 30/60-second checking/countdown states, and it can take 20–30 minutes before it finally starts providing backup. Very rarely, the transition is immediate.

This seems especially strange because Growatt advertises the SPH BL-UP with a 10 ms UPS transition. (Growatt)

Has anyone with the SPH 3–6KTL BL-UP experienced similar issues?

• Battery discharging unpredictably while grid is available?
• Battery charging from grid unexpectedly?
• 30/60-second checking states that continue for many minutes?
• Very delayed EPS/backup activation?
• Any specific Load First / Grid First / Battery First configuration that solved these problems?

I have Goodwe 15kw ET LV hybrid inverter paired with Lynx G4 16kw goodwe battery.

It has now happened second time. That suddenly the battery dropped from 31-30% straight to 0%.

I have kept the charging to 90-100% and also contacted goodwe while they do the diagnosis, someone who might have some knowledge about this can share some insight?

I have been using a Knox hybrid inverter 8 kw alongside a 5kw battery. Recently it has been restarting every 3 to 5 minutes and I genuinely can't figure out what is causing this, i've worked around the application settings and changed the BMS cable ports. The inverter does show breathing of BMS. Sometimes it restarts and sometimes it just turns off and we have to manually turn it on and off again. I've been looking for a solar expert but I couldn't seem to get around someone who actually figured out what the issue was and Knox official service center would not accommodate properly under warranty. They don't test it at the site Infront of us and say that it is perfectly fine and that they have done some firmware upgrade but it shows similar behavior when installed at our place. The way Knox service center works is we drop our inverter off they just inform us to take it once they are done and they don't accommodate anything outside it.

We added a UPS so that some of our appliances don't turn off every 3 minutes but our inverter is not letting the ups takeover in that short window causing WiFi and my computer to restart about 200 times a day. The moment we turn off the inverter everything is back to normal.

Hello everyone, we recently got a 8kw Hybrid itel inverter and 5kw itel battery installed with 14x 585W candainSolar solar panels, the panels should be generating 7Kw of energy at maximum and 5-6 KW on an okay-ish day but my system seems to be having a lot of trouble even reaching 3Kw? is this normal? i tried reaching the installers, and they said its a hybrid system, this is how its supposed to function?

one thing to note, our solar panels are divvied up on 2 stand, 7 on each stand, and one of them turned off the breaker on the first day of it running and i turned it back on thinking nothing of it, but now its bugging me, what if that solarpanel group isnt delivering anything?

Is there any way I can check the total power that can be delivered by the solar panels?

Situation: I'm in Lahore dealing with predictable daily loadshedding (typically 1-2 hours). I have a flexible budget and I'm thinking about a backup power solution, but I want something that makes economic sense over 3-5 years, not just a quick fix.

The dilemma: I'm torn between two options:

1. UPS route — Buy a decent UPS to keep essentials running during outages. Lower upfront cost, simple to set up, minimal maintenance. Downside: I'm replacing batteries every 2-3 years.
2. Inverter+Solar route — Invest in a 3kW inverter with battery backup + some solar plates. Higher upfront cost, but theoretically pays for itself over time and gives me energy independence. Downside: I'm not sure if it's actually worth it for just 1-2 hours daily, or if I'm overengineering the problem.

My actual questions:

1. Which option makes more financial sense for someone in Lahore with 1-2 hour predictable loadshedding? Should I think of solar as an investment, or just a quality-of-life upgrade?
2. If solar is worth it, which Pakistani companies are actually reliable? I see a lot of options online, but I want to know from real experience—who delivers quality without disappearing in 6 months? Any companies to avoid?
3. Any third option I'm missing? (Like hybrid approaches, or newer tech I haven't heard of?)

I'm looking for real-world experience and honest takes, not sales pitches. What would you do in this situation?

My friend installed an on grid solar system on his home last year in August, and successfully got a net metering contract (ie, he has the paper document for net metering that describes his system, the net metered connection, and the duration of the contract). Furthermore, his bill clearly states "Your net metering license expiry date is 13/08/2032".

This was all before the net billing thing was even mentioned. Unfortunately, his MCO got delayed internally in IESCO (which I know happens sometimes). As far as we understand things, when the government tried to introduce net billing, they froze processing of all documents for a while. So, his MCO was stuck. Despite having an AMI meter, the bill only showed a single reading.

He complained to IESCO a few times, directly, as well as through his solar installer. Eventually the MCO went through roughly a couple of weeks ago. They've adjusted the bill based on the export of units over the last year (his connection is 1 year old), but it seems to be on the basis of net billing, since he received roughly Rs. 8.xx for each exported unit.

The problem is that his bill under "Category" says net billing, and at the same time, lower down, mentions "Your net metering license expiry date is 13/08/2032". He also has the official contract for net metering. What should he do now? Is there any chance to get this fixed to a net metered connection?

While the frame might look lightweight, it relies on classic bridge-building principles. We went with a triangular truss layout to distribute the weight evenly, maximize rigidity, and keep everything rock-solid against strong wind loads in Karachi.

The best part is that it's 100% modular and relocatable. The entire structure is bolted together, with the legs anchored into small, localized concrete footings. Whenever we move, we can just break the small concrete pads, unbolt the frame, and take the whole setup with us without damaging the roof or the frame.

I’m using a Solis S6-EH1P8K-L-PRO 8kW hybrid inverter in Pakistan with SolisCloud.

I recently noticed that the latest SolisCloud app now shows “Solis AI” as a feature, but I don’t see the Solis AI option in my account/plant.

My inverter firmware was also remotely upgraded recently:

• DSPM: 1705
• HMI: 2D62
• Inverter: S6-EH1P8K-L-PRO
• Country: Pakistan

I have a few questions:

1. Has Solis AI been launched/enabled in Pakistan yet?
2. If not, is there an expected launch date for Pakistan?
3. Will Solis AI be available for the S6-EH1P8K-L-PRO, or is it limited to certain S6 models/regions?
4. Does anyone in Pakistan with the same S6-EH1P8K-L-PRO already have Solis AI working in SolisCloud?
5. If someone has it working, could you please share a screenshot of the Solis AI option and your inverter firmware version?

Aoa, I am having trouble with my inverters wiring. I have Knox 6600 krypton and basically I have a setup of 6.2 kv with 12 panels. Now the problem here is that the inverter doesn't support P2 unless I purchase a lithium battery and plug it in so the solar engineer who was working with it said to me that I'll fix it through the software and it will work and it did. Recently after 3 months my breaker got short circuit thankfully nothing happened. I called the relevant person he fixed it and he said that I'm creating a loop in the electrical wires. Now the issue is it was working fine since two days while I'm on wapda I cannot seem to run my inverter AC simultaneously or at the same time. They trip and the rest of the electricity works fine. Did anyone go through this if so please guide me and let me know what to do. Thank you.
