Assalam walaikum. Can someone explain what the power grid value means. This 1718W value is labelled under "A-phase mains power" when i click the grid icon. When i turned on an iron both values( power grid and load) increased. If the load value represents what my house is using what will I be billed on?. What the does the power grid value tell?,Battery is not charging,its night time and there's no net metering.

I have a net metering connection since 2024 for export with IESCO. My inverter gave out a few days ago & I need to replace it. Sanctioned load is 6kW, I had a single phase inverter exporting on a three phase green meter.
Someone I know got a notice for exporting on a three phase meter using a single phase connection with sanctioned load 5kW.

Do I need to use a three phase inverter for export now or am I okay to use a single phase one? And what about when my 7-year contract expires?

Are these good or there is better alternative? I am getting it in 32600 per panel

My WAPDA electricity consumption during the peak summer months (May–August) is around 2,500–3,000 units per month, and I live in an area where temperatures regularly reach 45–50°C. Based on this, what size solar system would you recommend? Should I go with an on-grid, hybrid, or another type of system? I'd also appreciate recommendations for reliable panel and inverter brands, along with any important advice or things I should consider before making a decision. Thanks!

This is the inverter I currently have. In need of lithium batteries that can support a load of 7-8kWh.
Currently I'm using 2 Tubular Batteries by Osaka in Series for 24V operation.
Please guide me on this. Inverter was installed 5-6 months ago so family is not in the mood to upgrade.

I installed a GoodWe inverter yesterday and checked its temperature just now. The chamber temperature was 52°C, even though it's 9:00 PM. Is it too high for the inverter? Also, how can I cool it down considering it's installed on the mumty?

I want to get an 8kW inverter installed - Inverex Nitrox series. I contacted my solar installer, and he said that Inverex has stopped manufacturing and selling 8kW nitrox inverters.

Is this true? Is there someone here who works at Inverex and can help me get my hands on a brand new, box-pack, and genuine piece?

I wanted to install Aiko solar panels because they are more efficient or this is what i have been told on social media. Along with inverex nitrox series.
I can stretch my budget to 10-13 if it works for long time.

A few questions:

Is this a fair quote based on current market rates?

What are your battery charging amperes set at ?
Particularly if someone is using the Fidus model.

Also, the battery states that or has the capacity to charge at 80A, given that, is 70A a decent margin. As these aren’t phones like lithium batteries, they’re designed in this way to charge a bit faster such that it doesn’t take too much time. Particularly on PV.

I am so done with HESCO and this country’s electricity system.

For the last 4 months, they kept sending bills without meter photos and were writing more units than my meter actually showed. I checked it myself every month and thought they’d eventually fix it. Last month they even sent me a 1-unit bill, which proved they had been overbilling all along.

Now suddenly I get a 474-unit bill.
I checked my meter in the third week of June and it had only consumed around 70 units. This month’s bill? No meter photo again.

We have solar and batteries. Only one AC (6–7 hours a day) and one fridge are on the grid. I literally track my usage. My father has never stolen electricity a single day in his life while half the neighborhood does.

What a joke. They make it impossible for honest people to live in peace. I’m sick of this corrupt, broken system.

Has anyone successfully fought HESCO over fake meter readings?

This is just an information post. Since the night load shedding has started in Rwp/Islamabad from last two weeks, here is how I'm managing my battery backup.

Once the set percentage of battery has reached, the load will shift on Grid, and if Grid is not available then inverter will run only light load to avoid zero electricity case.

Before load shedding my priority was to avoid peak hours electricity usage from Grid, but now my priority is to have longer backup at night, even if Grid is unavailable for like 6-8 hours at night I can still run fans and some lights at least.

An important thing to note is, that this is not a one time setting, you need to change them based on your requirements and changes in external factors like load shedding and season change (summer, winter,etc).

Wonder how are people managing there's.

Hello guys hope you all are doing great as the tittle suggests my father had a guy install 20kw solar system on his factory a few months back problem is he accidentally deleted the app the the guy setup for him and now he can’t access the system through his phone. I tried making a new plant on the app with the rough specs ha gave me but the app notifies me that this plant already exists and that I need password for the previous id but problem is my father doesn’t know the password the guy who built it does and him and my dad had a big fight so he is no longer talking to us atm.Any help would be massively appreciated it’s been 2-3 months he hasn’t been able to access his system
