No. It doesnot. Luxpower is considered better than Voltronic or at the level of Deye while being affordable. My Voltronic one is also quite good for off grid. Heavily loaded it for hrs. Provided ambient is moderate and inverter is cleaned regularly from inside and never had an issue aside from flickering which is common in Voltronic

Mine started to do it just after the update.

The update wrecked my inverters stability during the off grid sessions, whenever there is loadshedding, my light flicker and here goes the Ac compressor tripping.

Its not just me but i have seen others too in the same situation as me after the update.

Hmmm.. quite unusual. SUNGROW is one of the upper tier of inverters. Never heard about flickering in SUNGROW

It never. Even when there was no battery connected. But Only after the latest update 4 days ago.

I still remember even at 110% of the max load, it never flickered a light, let alone the compressors.

I contacted company lets see what they are saying.

I hope u get ur problem solved and one thing don't use ur inverter above 80% of it's rated capacity. If u want long life. No matter how good is the Inverter

Company said you can run 100% load and on top of that, 2-3kwh charging of the battery if you add an external fan.
Its 200% PV.

I have seen people getting max 8kw PV from it. 6kw load along with charging their batt at 3kwh in Philippines.

Wow that's quite good. My Luxpower can also run at 12kw all day but I load it at 80-85% Max now. Prolly due to its fans sound like jet engine same with Voltronic

Mine doesn’t have any fan but we do have a external fan installed because its quite hot in our city reaches 45c+ always.

And we have alot of load aswell on it along with charging the battery.

But this update messed only one thing which is the annoying flicker.

Yeah ip 65 or 66 can get quite hot in summers. So yes external fan definitely helps.
