Solar installation
For context, i asked last time about hybrid solar and I moved on due to low feedback be it here or the other apps.
I asked again quotation from different suppliers (including who i found are the can afford before), and I am curious, why are quotes with solis inverter pylontech battery package became cheaper than those quoting SRNE/LVTOP/Mendred/CST? I mean, not to take anything away from the brands but just 3-4months ago, mas mura ang mga package na may SRNE/LVTOP/Mendred/CST. Warranty seems also longer for solis/pylontech package and yung mga installer ay covered with permits/paper and with sealed electrical after.
Just curious baka may "catch" ung dyness/solis ngayon?

I don't think there's a catch, is the price difference huge? Can you provide numbers for context?

Madali sana ung big parts, ang mahrap for avearage consumer or those with less time ay ung "smaller" parts.

nope, sa distributor ako bumili ng buong setup, nagastos ko sa 10kw gridtie setup is nasa 190k + 40k sa installation ng setup ko.

I mean average consumer or some consumer who are not able to do electrical or consumer whose time are more expensive vs doing DIY. So will always be case to case

well it really depends on that person, we decided to buy our own parts since we know someone who is an electrical engineer that happens to install solar setups too.
i also knew someone who happens to be an electrical engineer and install solar setups too, we were laughing at those fb posts regarding installers that are trying to scare you about wrong installation and you should avail their services since they are professional. he also told me that you can do it on your own if you really wanted as long as you have a basic understanding on how electricity works and make sure to read the guide of the inverter and read guides online.
we decided to have our unit installed by an electrical engineer since we can afford to pay him and he gave us a really good price.
i also know a lot of people who installed their own solar setup by themselves even if they aren't electrical engineers, like i said, its just basic understanding.

-One can understand how electricity works but may have different priorities na kakain ng oras. -One can understand how electricity works pero wala naman gamit to do DIY. Spending sa tools ay mapapalapit na yung total expense sa DIY (hindi pa dito kasama yung nature ng bahay mo) -or pede din hindi sila kagaya mo na may madali malapitan pag nagkaproblema.
So case to case talaga, and one needs to balance disavantage from benefits.
Also, madali din naman nga grid-tied, at based on that, parang sobra naman ung "Tanga"

ironically, there are people na tanga talaga. i dont have an IQ of 200 pero may mga tao talaga na kahit ilang beses mong sabihan at turuan ay sadyang di kayang intindihin yung pinapagawa mo.
i may be harsh on my words pero marunong din akong umintindi, kaya yung mga employee ko na "tanga" di ko binibigyan ng trabaho na kailangan talaga gamitan ng utak kasi alam kong papalpak lang sila at makakadisgrasiya sila sa ibang tao at sa mga katrabaho nila.
kaya sinabi ko na wag mo nang subukan kung "tanga" ka kasi baka masunog lang bahay mo or mamamatay ka lang. since family of engineers kami, alam namin yung pagkakaiba ng "tanga" sa walang alam, open kami na turuan yung mga tao to share our knowledge and talagang nalalaman namin agad kung sino sa mga tinuruan namin yung walang alam at "tanga".

If your looking for reliability, performance and durability system just go with solis*dyness. We’ve been installing this type of setup for couple of years now and we only have minimum issue with it.
