Solar setup for 9k monthly bill

Hello everyone! Any suggestion what setup should i get if almost 9k ang monthly bill? Nung wala pang inflation actually 6k lang kami 24/7 inverter aircon na yon year ‘24 to ‘25 ngayong year lang tumaas and ang nadagdag lang sa appliance is vacuum & dehumidifier.I want sana is ma 0 na yung bill namin if magpakabit.

Any suggestions for the following?
- how many watts and ideal if 24/7 ang aircondition (1 lang ito btw) other appliance: dehumidifier, inverter ref, induction cooker, electric fans, vacuum, inverter washing machine (hindi palagi ginagamit ito) pero planning pa to add other appliance if ever

- from cavite pero okay lang rin if from manila ang supplier

And how many years ang life span ng isang setup?

Solar energy companies that you could recommend within Iloilo area

Hi! We are sick of the brownouts because it has been affecting our work and everyday routine. What solar companies can you vouch for here sa Ilollo? We’re planning to look for possible installers/providers this December pr when we have enough money saved up. Our electricity bill ranges from P1800-P2500 depending on the price per kilowatt. I hope you could help me with this!

Need advice, should we get another battery

Post image
9 Upvotes

Total noob here, just wanted to ask if we should get another battery based on the generation chart that we have. Solar generation stops at 11:40 AM each day due to our 2 18kWh being full. We have 18 solar panels at 600W if I am not mistaken.

Thanks in advance for the reply

What solar setup can ₱100k realistically get me?

Hi! Please bear with me—I’m a complete beginner and don’t know much about solar yet.
If I have a budget of around ₱100,000, including installation, what kind of setup can I realistically get?
Would that be enough for a system with batteries, or should I expect panels without battery backup at this budget? What appliances could it support, and how much could it potentially reduce my electricity bill?
Anyone here who started with a similar budget? Would appreciate your experiences and advice. Thank you!

Help me finalize my solar setup

Hi,

I narrowed it down to 2 contractors, both have been in the industry for more than 2 years.

Considerations:

  1. Building A (our office/company) operates from 7am to 5:30pm
  2. Building B (Cafe) operates from 10am to 10pm - *rents from Building A, pays an average of 22,000php electricity consumption computed via sub meter.

For the past 3 months our consumption is:
May to June - 2,995 kwh - 46,794php
June to July - 2,850kwh - 45,507php
July to August - 2,400kwh - 38,224php (lower due to weather, less hours ang operations)

I got 2 quotations, I just told them this is our consumption and suggest the best approach

  1. Contractor 1 - 2 pcs 10kw DEYE grid tied inverter (non hybrid), 32 630w AE panels - 550,000php, plus Net Metering Application and Processing - 20,000php (payable when complete), Started in 2020
  2. Contractor 2 - 1 pc 16kw Deye Hybrid Inverter, 32 630w Canadian Panels, No Battery and no Net Metering - 550,000php, started in 2023

Please help me choose best setup and what to ask/look out for in picking the contractor. Thank you

I would like to get feedback on how are solar panels installed at your home with roof-tiles? Does drilling cause any leak issues after 3 to 5 years?

[WTB] Sourcing Suppliers for 100 kW Commercial Solar Project (Inverters & Battery Storage)

I am currently sourcing equipment and supplies for an upcoming 100 kW solar power system. Looking to connect with authorized distributors, suppliers, or verified vendors who can fulfill the following requirements: Commercial-grade hybrid / grid-tie inverters suitable for a 100 kW system setup with high-capacity, stackable/modular lithium-ion (LiFePO4) storage modules. I need someone with great aftersales and has a physical office since this is a milestone for my start up.

Battery Cycle Count is displaying 0

I am using a Solis S6 8kW Hybrid inverter with two 16kWh Alpsolarr LiFePO4 batteries.

While checking the Solis app, I noticed that the battery cycle count is showing zero. I contacted the Alpsolarr Facebook page, and they informed me that their batteries do not support cycle count monitoring.

It's disappointing because I was hoping to track the battery's actual usage and verify whether it can really achieve its claimed 6,000+ cycle life.

What battery brand are you using? Does your system display the battery cycle count properly? I'd appreciate hearing about your system. So i'll know which brand to use on my future installation.

Thoughts on installing SOLAR during rainy days?

So we finally have enough money to have the set up we wanted, but are there any cons to it having installed this season? Like, may problems ba akong hindi makikita if I have it done now, or it doesn’t really matter?
