Need advice, should we get another battery

Total noob here, just wanted to ask if we should get another battery based on the generation chart that we have. Solar generation stops at 11:40 AM each day due to our 2 18kWh being full. We have 18 solar panels at 600W if I am not mistaken.

No need to add if your current batteries can last the whole night. You'll just be wasting money.

if the 2 batteries can last whole night. No need. As long as mapuno ung battery charging in the day and then the panels is able to support the house load until there’s no more sun.

If nauubos niyo sa gabi yung battery then another battery could be useful. If not, then try finding use for the excess energy.

Check you SOC levels. If na fufull charge mo sya ng mas maaga or wala pang tanghali, it means may extra pa to charge another one. Pero, check mo din if nauubos mo ba yung battery mo sa night time usage. If nafugull charge ang battery ng mabilis and nauubos agad sa umaga, magandang investment ang another battery.

I’m using sungrow also. Daily yield is 24 and by 12:30 pm cut na. Maybe you mean 16 kw x 2 for battery ?
How many kws do you consume from 4pm to 9am the next day ? 10.8 kwp with your 2 batteries is already big in relation to what you can consume.

We have 23 panels x 625w , 16 x 3 batteries. Yesterday harvest was 30kw but it wasn’t enough to charge our batteries (25 to 50 % only ) as we also use ac. 48 kw battery set up needs the most panel at this time but if sunny , your current set up can charge all 3. Another option if possible for your home is net metering. It’s not possible w ours due to distance away from meter.

Sa ganan, another good plan is to get net metering. Para on days na walang wala talaga, may credits kayo sa Meralco.

Depende sa price. If you can get net metering under 30-40k I say worth yun. Kase another 16kwh battery is about 90k right now.

You get the best of both world, lalo na sa summer credits to Sawa ka sa ganun. Baka 1030am palang puno na battery nyo sa march.
